Looks like you got the right code :D

Great pics, especially the tiger- they always make a great stitched subject. Meerkats are cute, my MIL loves them so I have stitched a couple of Meerkat designs over the years :)

I like the periodic table design too :T Its fab the designer has found us. I hope she sticks around :)

I plan on sticking around :D I'm supposed to be mentioned in the new issue of WOXS magazine. I think it is just a editorial reply to a question about where to get a periodic table pattern. I'm hoping I can find it on their site, I don't get the magazine.

I'll have to post some pics of my WIP. It is coming along pretty well and I think the finished critter is going to be pretty cute (reindeer).

You are mentioned in this months WOXS with a picture of the Periodic Table, that's how I found your etsy site. My scanner isn't working at the moment, actually it's the netbook that's linked to the scanner that's not working, so I can't upload a copy of the article here. If no one else that gets WOXS manages to upload a copy of will hvae a go from work next Tuesday.

Update on Rock, Scissors etc I have finished hand and done 3/4 of the stitching around it. Think I'm going to only do the circle around each symbol in half cross stitch so that the symbol stands out (hope you don't mind rhaben). Will try to post a picture tomorrow, actually later today, and let you see what you think.

Salfordgirl - your finished pieces are lovely. I especially like the tiger, I think theh loom lovely when they're finished but know how much of a pain they are to stitch.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! :kisses3: It's fun to see my stuff in print.

As to modifying the pattern, everybody does that! I look at things like patterns and recipes as jumping off points. Can't wait to see it :)

Rhaben - im not sure how many posts you need to make before you can post, possibly only 10. As we say to people just keep chatting and you'll be there in no time.

Well hubby is at Cub camp (I haven't gone due to hospital the other day) and son has gone off on DofE walk and lm left here crying like an idiot. I hate being a woman at times. I wanted to take a photo of son dressed for walm with rucksack on but he threw a teenage strop and said no so I got upset. How pathetic am I.

Anyway I've made myself a cup of tea and come back to bed with Spock, well the cross stitch with the Spock symbol anyway. Will try to post an update picture later.

have a good stitchy Saturday everyone.

    Sorry for so many posts.

The lights not too good for stitching at the moment so I've been flicking through magazines thinking about tne Christmas Card exchange. That made me think about Louise's idea for coashttp://christmasorniesal.blogspot.co.uk/er cards and then I thought about doing a Christmas Tree decoration on a card.

How do people feel about doing a Christmas Tree decoration this year rather than a card? It's just athought and I'm happy to be shot down in flames. I found this blog about decorations if anyone is interested.

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
    Hi all

not been on for ages as I started a new job and with working, I am trying to get into a routine for doing the housework, ironing, gardening, shopping, kids etc and seem to have little to no time for stitching at the moment.

However have managed to do a couple of small xmas cards here and there so keeping my hand in so to speak!!

Am slowly catching up on the thread - think I am about mid September at the moment and there are some absolutely beautiful pieces of work displayed.

Louise - quick question for you. Which issue specifically of Cross Stitcher is the Rennie Macintosh Alphabet in. You said the december 2009, and I found a copy of that on Ebay but no mention of that design in the contents. So I was wondering if it not too much of a problem could you let me know the issue number please. I am scottish and just love Rennie MacIntosh and would love to do this for a few of my relatives. Many thanks.

Will try and catch up on the rest of the thread tonight but strictly may be calling lol. Will also try and post my card makes up when I get a moment.
