Hi all, just another quick pop in, will attempt tomorrow to catch up. I am totally tired and I still have today another 2 nights to go. Pay is handy but its not the bee all and end all.
SQ I think as a family unit, I would leave the kids to find out for them selves. Without giving too much away I did this about 10 years ago. It was to save my girls from the constant comparing my MIL did. She still does now but I don't have to listen to it. They have never bothered about missing them.
Last thing before I dash off again - I have lost 7lb in weight so far this year. I have cut out sugar in drinks, butter on sandwiches and basically being a little more healthy. I am really proud, and I know I have a fair but more to loose, it all helps.
take care all xBSC member 137

Try and get some nutty x
Fuddle not sure if this is any good for but ds2 and myself have been eaten more veggie pate and black peppered mackerel.
It helped us a lot, we haven't had any for about a week and I can really the difference. my kneese are playing me up something chronic.
The mackeral is expensive think the fresh sealed pack we got was 200g for £1.89. But out of that I made mackeral pate, mackeral with salad and another lot with pasta. So six plus meals ds2 and myself.
Oh and mayo has lots omega 3 essential oils and great for creaking joints
Alfsmum and jen wondering how you both had been
Lynn glad your visitrvwas able to be seen x
Sq ignore the family hunni, the kids will soon figure them out, I know mine have!
I have a sort of meal plan, but need to get organised later.
Evening meals
M) Enchiladas
T) pizza and gnocci (both reduced so £2 for large pizza and the other)
W)mince dinner
T) salad , quiche potato salad
F) soup
S)pizza wedges
S) pasta sauce foccaccia
Shouldn't need to buy anything extra in, probably ds2 will want feta cheese for the salad but he'll be happy with olives.0 -
Hi all.
I’ve just come back from a busy afternoon. Went to counselling. Shame its only one last session until its over. Alas, All good things bust come to a end I suppose. We spent the first 20 minutes talking about what the next course of action is. Because she is pregnant and going on maternity leave.
She has spoke to her manager who believes it might be in my best interests to wait at least six months before considering any other form of counselling. This is for a whole factor of reasons and quite frankly non of them sounded wrong.
The other issue is, She doesn’t feel that I’m ready to re-start the entire process with someone new and having to go through the same experiences from scratch.
So, That’s the first bit sorted.
Then I headed off for an eye check as its been two years since my last. My eye sight is prefect - however, I have serious eye strain from reading. So I now have glasses for watching tv, computer use, reading ect.
Luckily I only need a basic pair, Good thing really, Because the price for glasses is daylight robbery. The assistant there was trying her up most to get me to buy a £125 pair. Not happening UNLESS I HAVE to wear them. If not, The cheap £20 pair is mine.
That’s it now, Until Saturday when we finally meet the vicar! I’m very excited, But must dash now as I have housework to do & pups to walk.
xxFuture goals:
Become debt free.
Beat Depression.

I wish to announce the arrival of a very new and extremely special little person into our lives. He was delivered by ceasarian section at 12.45 pm today weighs 7lb 4oz and has masses of brown hair and dark brown eyes and in the words of his Mum is beautiful and perfect and arrived in this world yelling his little head off!!! We're on cloud 999 and just euphorically happy. DD2 had a few problems at the end of last week and went in to have an induction on Monday so it's been a long few days (longer for her I suspect) and nights but entirely worth it to hear the depth of happiness in her voice when she rang to tell me. We hope to visit on Saturday and meet Ezra for the very first time, what a wonderful day, what a happy Oma, Lyn xxx.0
