Kez ((hugs)) personally my advice is to stick with your instincts, if they are like this now when you made a small easily remedied error how will they be when you make a big super duper one? Is your time really worth so little?

Byatt you are so right about the bullying - yet after recent events I am now of the opinion that if these people want it so badly let them have it, eventually they will regret it. I hope so anyway after the way I am being treated at the moment, I am clinging to the hope that karma can take care of it :)

SQ - I saw the Russian state ballet when I was a child - it was magical.

I am striding forward with Christmas shopping and think other than a few items I may actually be done. Relieved is how I feel, as it means that no matter what gets thrown at me I will not let anyone down this year.

My chest has not improved, the minute the steroids stopped I deteriorated again, so have to do the whole GP thing again. Its depressing me now if I am honest, I am short tempered and miserable. Feeling so restricted, not sleeping and generally feeling so rubbish is sending me insane.

House looks like a bomb site, DD19 has barricaded herself in room after major row yesterday, during which she packed her bags. And OH is swamped, is wandering from job to job not finishing one thing before beginning another.

Dear Kidcat, you must rest, I knew a weekend wasn't going to cure you, but hoped it would...if you don't rest and just let go of all the things needing doing, you won't get well, and this will have a long term effect on you. I know it's not easy, I know you are relied on so much, but the world *will* keep turning if things don't get done, and if you are so ill that you need hospitalisation, people have to cope.

I believe at least 2 weeks are needed of as much rest as possible. :o Your lungs need to heal. :A Can you hire a cleaner for a couple of weeks? Someone to do the ironing?

I believe in groups there is a power play, not that people want your role, but they want to perpetuate the myth that if they were doing it, it would be so much better. What is that group theory name? Worth having a read. edit: http://infosect.freeshell.org/infocult/phenomene/English/HTML/doc0006.htm

Byatt - I am considering just letting the house hang for two weeks and then getting a cleaning crew in to blitz it ready for Christmas, the thought occurs that OH three months in the new job are up in two weeks - and they may decide not to keep him on, in which case he will be here to do it or if he is kept on I can afford the cleaner IYSWIM?
You are right though it does need two weeks minimum, last time took three sets of antibiotics, so I need to get back to GP and get more.

A really sweet thing is currently happening - DS15 is helping DS9 with his maths homework, they have ditched regular methods and gone Auty! I have no idea how they are doing it and dont even understand the words as they have slipped into their own speak - but the answers are right and they are working together!

Can't add anything to the excellent advice already given to Kezlou, other than hugs.
The person who never made a mistake never made anything, as the saying goes. I've made plenty, including sending the wrong email to the wrong person (as a tutor).
I realised, apologised, told them I was normally far more efficient than that and that the mistake was unlikely to be repeated.

I've been on the receiving end of dozens - hundreds - of errors throughout my life.
My disability is a result of what would now be viewed as serious malpractice when I was born and the pattern has kinda continued. (My mum was a nurse at that hospital and worried about her job if she spoke out.)
Some have been real biggies and have led to sharp words, most of the others - like Kezlou's - not so.
    Stuff happens.

    Take care everyone x

Well ive finally caught up with everything, for a little while.

KEZ, everyone makes mistakes - just look at some poloticians!!!! seriously if you are volunteering to help, and they still act like that then I would take you help elsewhere. Please don't let them intimidate you, infact no one should be made to feel that way.

KIDCAT, I hope you are getting enough rest, leaving the dust for a few days or a week wont make you a bad person. It will all be sorted in the end, but your health is always the most important thing.

FUDDLE, I hope your all sorted for the move. Honestly I think you are really brave, I know I couldn't mentaly cope moving away from where I am. See it shows you are a stronger person than me.

Well ive had a few tears today, thinking about tomorrow. My baby has to go to the hospital for her operation. I am not allowed to stay with her as she is an adult now she is 18, trust me shes not!!! I just hope there is some very understanding nurses there. If you saw her you would think shes about 13 or 14. She has struggled with learning all her life. Oh well rules are rules.

    take care x

    Evening all

Nutty - what's your Dd having done? Hope it all goes well....I'd be staying, rules or no rules!

Kidkat - please take same time to get yourself back on track....hope you've managed to clear the air with DDx

It's been a very relaxing weekend, some gardening in the sunshine yesterday, lovely evening out last night, gorgeous roast pork dinner today....bit of crafting this afternoon...now jimjams are on, the fire is crackling away and I've got a glass of wine and a bowl of raisins to snack on. Lunches are made for tomorrow, so I don't need to rush around.

I hope it all goes well for Miss Nutty. I think I'd be insisting on staying too. Be a tiger mother.
Kez, TBH it sounds like you'd be a lot better off out of it.It's making me want to shout at them and I'm not even there!
Kidcat definitely let the housework sit while you rest. You need to get better and these things are notoriously difficult to shift.
We've had a fairly restful weekend but with lots of bits and pieces to sort. It has been lovely getting to know Lottie our little rescue dog (though she has cost us a bit of money now as I couldn't stop myself getting her a bed for the other room so she can sit by me as I work at my laptop. She's a bit of a velcro dog. Have had lots of interest in some bits I put on a local selling page so hopefully we can fund some christmas pressies.
