So sorry KEZ, I appreciate nothing can be done about the bank card, but surely something should be done with regard to the Argos card.- it is theft.
Sending you many hugs

Well i've been on the phone again but nope cab have said the same thing as have the police and the bank.
Fuming , but i'm going to into the branch and have word with them, never know they might be able to offer a solution.
Right better start walking to get the little fella from school.
After that going to collect a cupcake recipe from a kind person. He's so chuffed
speak to you in a bit, sorry about whinging0 -
kezlou I am so so angry on your behalf. I could strangle that miserable excuse for a human being
I know that you don't want anyone to know about your mental health problems, but I'm wondering if a letter from your Doctor saying how you are and the stress you have been under would help the bank/police to do something. I know elder finance abuse is taken seriously, so why not a depression sufferer. I really hope this *beep* gets what's coming to her.
((((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))))))0 -
You are NOT whinging kezlou. Its an appalling thing to have happen. You seem to be coping far maturely than I would.
All can do is send you lots of (((HUGS))).Use it up, Wear it out, Make it do, Do without.0 -
Kez - Hugs, no idea what to suggest, other than keep trying, to me its obtaining money under false pretences and an offence. If you left your front door open and someone took your TV that would not be covered by insurance as you hadnt made efforts to secure, but the police would still investigate the theft.
I woke today to find the side of my face badly swollen, so had to call gp for appointment, went to my asthma check and she said I had to see the doctor, so waited another hour. Doctor says I have a chest infection and an abcess, so has given my antibiotics.
But I had got myself really worked up and panicky over it, and was very tearful, doctor looked embarrassed and couldnt wait to get me out of office.
Its a really bad day anyway, weather is bad, there are lots more school runs to do, due to DS having half days off, DD being finished at lunch time etc.
And all I really want to do is curl up, cry and then sleep, OH then rang to announce he is is work for 4am tomorrow, and then off to Edinburgh so wont be home till late Friday. I managed to say goodbye and hang up the phone but I am speechless, that knowing how ill I am he would even consider it. Then I am cross with myself that I expected differently and then I am cross I didnt manage to say anything.
I guess when I said last night that things couldnt get any worse, someone took that as a dare.0 -
This person should not be allowed to get away with her crimes:mad:. For one thing you may not be her only victim.
If someone had stolen £1200 off me I would be absolutely livid. Write to your MP, get a letter from your solicitor sent to her saying if she doesn't pay back the money you will take her to court (private prosecution), tell her you will be contacting papers/TV/Anne Robinson. Get her worried. I'm not entirely sure of your situation or who the 'witch' is but if she is employed to look after vulnerable people then I would tell her employer what happened.0 -
Kezlou , so sorry for your money problems , wish that the police could do something, so annoying ..I know what its like to be let down by so called friends and families, we were taken in by someone in dh family and lost a lot of money, they were supposed to be paying money for christmas hamper , so 4 weeks before christmas we found out that they had taken the money and therefore no hamper....wasn't a fun time , but we got through it and so will you , you are strong, whatever happens over time they will get what they deserve, so just hang in there ... right better get my backside into gear and do school runs before physio ...x£223/ £250 GC0

(((Hugs))) Kez what an awful thing for someone to do. I don't understand how she thought it wouldn't get found out either. Do you know anyone who can go round and confront her (I don't mean violently)? And mention that the bank have CCTV footage so proof that she got the money etc? And that you will be prosecuting (privately) and that it will be in the papers?0

KIDCAT sending you hugs. I marvel at what you achieve each day you are an inspiration.
Look after yourself and be kind to yourself. I know you don't have much time for YOU, but if all of us knew you in RL we would be round like a shot to help out.
Take care
