  • I admit defeat!

Today, I’m totally at my lowest point. In fact I’m ready to throw in the towel.
It seems no matter how hard we’re trying to correct all the wrongs - More of the brown stuff is fling our way & I don’t feel I now have the strength to try anymore.

Between being left penniless, Poisonous family members, Lack of medications (Again!) Debts not getting lowered, aching bodies - I have no idea where to turn.

I am emotionally & mentally drained. All I’ve done today is cry at the fact I cant seem to do anything right.
I REALLY didn’t want to invade the thread as many of you have / having your own issues. But no one else around me seems to understand how your left feeling after trying your hardest only to fail.

    Sorry again for a moan…& depressing post…

    Hugs to all. x

Katieowl - your book delivery tale made me smile :D Might have a quick peek at the books myself, am feeling very bored, not used to sitting about quite this much.

Your anniversary break sounds divine Cornish chick. Did we miss your anniversary? Happy belated wedding anniversary in case  Have a lovely meal tonight...

DS6 has come home with a homework book like his big bruv and he is over the moon to have maths and literacy to do. Hope their enthusiasm lasts through secondary school... that would be a miracle I am guessing :D

Hugs back to you....It's a miserable 'orrible day. Can you do something completely different for a bit just to take your mind off it all? XXX
  • PX87 sweetie today is just one day in your life, and some days are really hard to get through and it feels like the weight of the world is on your shoulders alone, we all have days like that each and every one of us, so we DO know how it feels honey, and we do understand just how dark a place it is. But it IS just one day, and tomorrow might be full of sunshine and you will wake up and feel full of optimism and the darkness will have passed. It's not easy to face these difficult days alone and it's hard work to stay afloat isn't it? What I will say is that YOU haven't failed at anything love, you just haven't succeeded yet but you'll keep trying and working and fighting for your future and one day you WILL succeed and on that day the darkness will go and you'll be on an even keel again and standing in the sun. All the time you're feeling low and despairing we're there holding you in our hearts and giving you hope and love, and we'll be there to share the joy WHEN and not IF you do succeed and have your life where you want it to be. It may take some time but you are part of us and we care about you pet, and we'll all send you hugs and strength to help as often as it takes and be here for you, Chin up chicken, you'll make it Love Lyn xxx.

  • Px as scarlet o'hara said, tomorrow is another day,
Sq anniversary was back in August but never had 2 days off in a row that fitted in with vacancies.
Off to dress for dinner, just been sitting in the lounge by an open fire, it's beautiful here. Wish we had the energy to walkon the moors still,
Jem. Do your neighbours own their House? Rspca may still be of help if they are over breeding or animals are cramped.
today's mood is brought to you by coffee, lack of sleep and idiots.

What a mix of people with hard times, and lovelies (mrsLW et al), I think we're so lucky on this thread - just as someone reaches the end of their tether, up pops someone to hold their hand and offer whatever they need, RL has nothing on this place! :D

Sis, bro and I are realising that mum prob needs more help than we thought. She doesn't want to go to town alone now, we don't know if she's had a bad experience that she's forgotten, or just part of the dementia, so we're upping the ante a tiny bit. We know pretty much what the end game will be, just hoping that it's in gentle stages, and she remains her gentle self. :(. Part of me feels like I'm already starting to grieve for the mum who's starting to disappear.

Sorry to waffle, been a long week and have ended it with a few glasses of wine cos some days have been rather pants! :D

    A xo

cheapskate - It must be hard for you to see your mum this way, its good though that you have your siblings involved as well.

I am relieved the week is over, but have realised I have done nothing for DD18 birthday on Tues other than order the laptop (which wont arrive in time) oops! So tomorrow I will have to do a mad dash to get some little gifts and a card etc.

Am really proud today though as DS9 got an award in assembly for doing his homework, its a major issue for us getting home work done, and having school recognise he has done it should hopefully help with the next set. :)
