Stay where you are Mar.
Jem it's absolutely not your fault, please don't blame yourself.
Pops I hope you feel better soon.
Just back from the vets and the giant rabbits STILL aren't signed off. My credit card is having to become quite flexible. : ( One still has an eye ulcer and the other now has an infection after her spay. I could open my own pharmacy I think.
DH is anxious again, about the rabbits but also jobs, as his contract comes to an end soon (can you believe it has been a year?!). He has a psychometric test to do this week for a job which is no doubt contributing to his anxiety. Wouldn't it be lovely if it all went smoothly and he just got this job and didn't have to apply for 100s.0 -
Thanks for the virtual TLC and suggestions...I can do all of them:)and come to think of it I should have bothered last night, I have in the past made my own cheap HM version of Lemsip. I'll be ready for tonight, evenings are always the worst time.
If this is all I get this Winter I have been lucky.
Since my last post I have had 40 winks and the paracetemols have worked their magic. I may cheat later and have some soup and or a ready meal on the lines of a casserole. In the coming days I'll dig out the slow cooker."A government afraid of its citizens is a Democracy. Citizens afraid of government is tyranny!" ~Thomas Jefferson

Thanks possession I just can't help thinking if I hadn't breastfed him for so long maybe he wouldn't be so attached to me
Pops I got my slow cooker out at the weekend and I have got a casserole in it now bubbling away mmmmmm
XI have dyslexia so I apologize for my spelling and grammar0 -
Paid in chickens - you need some days for wallowing - in fact I am sure there is some govt regulations to that effect. Anyway we need someone to keep Mar company.
Pops - hope you feel better soon. an excuse to indulge yourself in any little comforts and treats you have. I like chicken soup (from a tin) and daytime TV (only time I watch it) when I feel like that.
Jem - you have done nothing wrong and everything right for your family - as you always do your best for them and are a fab mum.
Stiltwalker - is today your DH's last paid working day?
Possession - hope your DH's test goes ok and anxiety reduces.
Fuddle if you are reading - lurked in SHTF yesterday - our car is the same plate as yours with nearly twice the mileage and we did a 6 hour (without stops so a fair bit longer with) journey in the summer and back again, the car was completely loaded. If you are worried about the car, as well as doing all the usual checks like tyres, oil etc and having a breakdown number and a "kit", you could ask a local friendly garage to give it the once over, a cheap service type thing.
Posh cat woke me up at 6am again this morn, second night in a row and my tiredness is returning today. I really need at least 8 hours, if not more sleep at the moment to survive a full day so will need to go to bed even earlier, 9.30 latest to be asleep for 10pm. Trouble is often doing chores, waiting for things to cool down to freeze etc until late and DS9 often still awake til 9.30 anyway.
Waiting for more laundry to finish to peg out. Instead of going into town before school run, will have 30 mins lie down and get organised for this afternoon/eve as DH is at college this eve.
Popped into Allydees earlier and picked up lots of bits for 99p in the sale, nice apron which I am giving to a friend for Xmas with some recipes in a nice notebook, teatowels and vests and some seeds for next year for 19p a packet.
