Thank you all. I need to find a way to forgive him for this and am a long way away from that point yet :)
    QUOTE]

Not surprised love, I'd be the same myself - I'm convinced blokes just don't see the same things as us though! Having said that though if my DH came home 12 hours later than he said he's have been sleeping in the garden never mind on the couch! If it had been particularly cold or I'd been feeling particularly charitable, he may (and I mean may) have got the key to the shed!

Not had that problem with plasters but maybe ask the nurse at your local surgery if they could suggest what to use - the nurse is probably far more use in this situation than a GP (and probably easier to get an appointment with). Or maybe better still ask the pharmacist? - Hx

Can I ask does anyone have an allergy/sensitivity to plasters? DD7 came home from school wearing the large white dressings on Friday having had a bad fall, we have removed them this morning and she has a very nasty rash from them, now it occurs this happened last time she had a large dressing on as well.
I am going to have to ask school not to use them but will need to be able to provide an alternative and am not sure what to give them.

They are out there and not very expensive I found some in Tesco's(own brand)so I guess a pharmancy will have their own too.

  • Kidcat I have had a reaction so some dressings that were used on my back recently, had them over a period of several months, and the surgery tried several brands before finding one that didn't cause irritation.

I agree with sitltwalker, ask the nurse at the surgery as they have experience of a wide range of dressings.

  • Morning all. Remember me!!?? LOL.

I’ve not been online for a few days and have missed so much. Managed to catch up now.

Hugs to anyone who needs them. I know there’s a few of you, But cant remember now who it was….

Thank you for the heads up about the gym + doctor assessment. I will be looking into that. Just need to hold out until my next appointment really. Don’t want to make a extra “un-needed” appointment for the fun of it.

No much to report from me, Hopefully I’ve turned a corner from constant drama’s !!

Anyways bbs. Take care all x

  • Morning Toughies, wasn't that a rough old night? I hope everyone is OK if a little down on sleep and that there has been no damage to property and posessions. The Lurcha had us up at silly o clock and was quartering the garden and jumping up at the boundary fences, I haven't a clue what had been there but I'm very pleased it had departed before he asked to go out. Heavens only know how he heard it over the wind noise!!!

Hugs all round to those of you with such difficult problems, you have such fortitude all of you and my total admiration for how you keep going and motivated through all that besets you, and come out the other side stronger and more determined than ever, you're a good bunch you know that?

I had such a treat yesterday, one of my neighbours came to visit with her grandaughter, who adores Docky and has to visit when she visits Nanna and also her 11 week old new baby sister, who I got to cuddle. What a cutie, she chatted away and smiled for ages and was just adorable. It's a long time since I had a cuddle with such a small one, my neighbout said it's good practise for the arrival of Lentil in February, I just know it was magic!!!

My front lawn is littered with windfall apples after the wind last night so I'm off to collect them all up and today is going to be chutney making. I have a lot of ripe tomatoes and some pears given by a neighbour so I'll make Spicy Apple, Red Tomato and Pear and Chilli(I have some lovely hot red ones in the greenhouse)and that should give me enough variety and quantity to see us through to next year. The only other one I'll make later on is an Orange and Apricot Relish which is a tradition for the christmas period.

MOLLY hope everything is well with you lovie, and also with your dad if you get time let us know you're OK and on the mend, thinking of you, Love Lyn xxx.

My youngest Dd is sensitive to brown plasters and had a very bad reaction to one I put on her as a child. Her arm was a weeping mess for ages after. When I read the box I found they had been made in India. I think it is the glue that causes the problem. She is ok with the white micropore stuff though whereas I am not, I refuse it now after blood tests and prefer nothing at all for them.

Gailey - welcome home, am so sorry its such a difficult time for you.

My OH was made redundant several weeks ago and after 16 years it was a shock, I tried to get advice from CAB but got nowhere until OH saw our GP and she referred him in due to his depression.
We planned a year of him being out of work to help me as a carer, but after just two weeks off he was offered a job and took it. I hope your OH finds similar.

I have to say I am exhausted and very down at the moment, OH new job is many more hours than his old one, a lower hourly rate, and more days - this week he has worked over 70 hours. It feels as though I am a single parent struggling alone with both boys. Its only been a week but DS9 has stopped responding to OH and will only do anything for me. DS15 is the same. The whole responsibility is now mine, I am juggling school runs, appointments and meetings and managing household stuff too.

OH worked today and promised to be a couple of hours, he left at 5.30am and returned at 7.30pm. BY which time I had sorted whole house, done the washing ironing and shopping, managed the kids, homework, reading and spellings, baths, hair washed and uniforms prepped. Visited my parents, organised DD18 to an interview and picked her back up.

Sorry I didnt mean to unload I am just so exhausted constantly and can see no end to the nightmare, which is so upsetting having planned a year of him being here to share the stress and caring.

Aww kidcat sorry you goig through !!!! too.

If i remember rightly dident you buy a house few years back?

how are you kids , you still doing different school runs?
dont know how you cope. I did separate preschool /primary last year 1.2miles apart by foot was killer.

Lot of what you say resonates with me.

we always put our life on hold for hubbys career hubbys job which now lies in tatters currently.

    I missed my grandads funural:(

He saw very little of kids.

we rarly spent time together as family.

when he was off he was doing stuff for his mam or just too tired.
moaning about the house that its too small.

He had 4weeks off and that time.
    hes done more

appreciated what i do not that you would realise that this morning.
