  • Lovely Mrs Chip,
Dare I admit...ok I did not make them but I purchased some custard doughnuts earlier today:o

If I turn up at the food festival in Alnwick next week my friend is doing classes on making Ginger Bread and expects me to be at the front of the queue.:p:rotfl:I have never eaten GB let alone made it!

    That's a journey...around 3+ hours each way...I don't make it easy for myself.

Are you thinking of Texere Yarns, Mardatha

    http://www.texere-yarns.co.uk/index.html

Used to buy coned yarns for machine knitting from them. Must not look any more, must not look any more. Have two full cupboards of hand and machine knitting yarn plus an embarrassing number of wip's and ufo's.

YES THATS THEM! They're very good :D

  • Back after a sort of enforced break, it's been a wee bit fraught over here in the past few weeks but we have now sailed into far calmer waters.
Huge worries over DS, now much receding, things look far better than they have in ages. Phew x 1000000. May all of you with worries have them lift as well.

DS has been helping me to de-clutter now that he is feeling better, some stuff went for a table top sale, some went to the tip after spending months lounging in the garden alcove, and some is destined for the CS.
I am finding it as hard as ever to part with my books, though, but I do have too many...! Onward and upward.

  • That's good to hear...don't always get chance to talk long enough after the club ;)

Would love to help but I don't know either...it's overload...I'll never read/reply/respond to all that I would like to...I am now caught up in Twitter too. And a blog. Still it fills the hours and I guess its an alternative to watching TV.

    Try and enjoy the break...:)

    Just found this...does it help...
