  • Woohoo, have just ordered 2.5 kg. coffee beans from AF ... and lots of jam. And tuna. All healthy stuff (?), and at really good prices. Feel more secure about the changing season now - must be my Inner Squirrel!
I have just one cup of coffee in the morning - hand ground and made in a cafetiere. That's it for the day (but plenty of tea). x

I have to confess, I bought the Disney cake and biscuit magazine advertised on tv for 99p. I love anything Disney.... its the inner child in me. If I had to use a character to describe me, its eeyore. Always chasing my tail, a little bit round (ok quite a bit) and I can be quite slow at times. lol

Great news on the Driving Test Pooky, I don't drive now but I passed first time too...

I hope the operation for DS is not put off any longer Mar,

Fuddle, I think you'd have to drink loads of very strong coffee to be affected. I drink mine quite weak and go through periods where I have it ocassionally and times where it is all I drink.

Then again I drink more plain water than I once did. Recently I surprised myself by managing to drink black coffee.

Just heard the letterbox go and found a dreaded brown envelope. Nothing that I was not expecting but perhaps was not expecting a letter about it...

I am informed that officially my retirement age will now be 66 and not 65. It will still come around too soon. Assuming I don't pop off before then, none of us know.

You must be a similar age to me Pops, although I've known mine is 66 for some time - I'm expecting it to go to 67 if not 70 before I get there though!

I'm fully expecting my retirement age to be about 80 and for them to then announce when I'm 79 that there's no more money for pensions anyway.
    Well done Miss Pooky!
Hope DS has had the op Mar.
