So are we all off to Floss's to help her celebrate and eat all that yummy food :rotfl:

Kez, you are fab, hopefully all your ex friends will find someone new to call soon and leave you and your lovely family in peace. how good to have someone who knows about things to give you advice - that was very re-assuring Princess. Thats a positive outcome Georgie, good Mums always shine through. My Dd always looked as if she had popped out of a hedge and is still the same, but is a compassionate loving person and I wouldnt swop her for anything.

All quiet here, picked 3 lb of blackberries plus the few I ate, my goodness they are huge and sweet this year. Am going to another area tomorrow for a few more.

    Well done Floss!
We've found a good blackberry patch here today too (sorry Pooky), but my offer of a crumble got rejected and they have been eaten au naturel. WHich is fine by me as I don't like them anyway.
Lots of work done today on getting the shed ready for our rescue giant rabbits - can't wait for it to be finished so they can move in and have enough space to move properly for the first time in their lives.
  • Congratulations floss!

Today has been productive, weekly shop in to start. Then, this afternoon, we washed all of the handwash wool jumpers and they've mostly finished drying although a few may still need a bit more time outside tomorrow. I've popped the drying rack inside overnight. It is a lot of work, but it is so nice having them and they're warm..and of course it will be nice popping on a fresh clean one when it is cooler.

I also made an executive decision that the broccolis had to go. They've been eaten down to skeletal nubs by hoards of catepillars. I can hardly pick them off before a new hoard arrives and they were starting to move on to other plants. I'm hoping getting rid of the broccoli will mean the butterflies are less attracted to the other plants which are actually doing well. I also did a bit of weeding and harvested another courgette.:D

It is work for me as usual tomorrow, but I've delegated the cooking to OH as I fancy a walk in the sunshine after I finish. Tuesday his parents are coming round. They're giving us a lovely piece of furniture that they no longer use and his dad is going to help him take a few things to the tip in the car. I've said I'll make a simple tea after I finish work so they can come round. His parents really are lovely (mine are as well, but they're far away, hard to have them for tea:p).

Right, I think that is all from me tonight. I hope those of you with a bank holiday enjoy it. Fuddle, best of luck on your excursion! Big hugs to Molly, I'm thinking of you.x

    FUDDLE,
The curry colour will probably be turmeric which may help prevent Alzheimers. So all good although nuclear.

Yes they're very soft Lyn, and only 6 months' old, they still have at least another year of growing to do! When they were rescued they were in a 3'6 square hutch and couldn't even put their ears up. Someone else rescued them and is paying all the initial vets' fees too which is the only way we could do it. And luckily we can just adapt a building we already had, although we did have to find another place for all the stuff that was in it!
