Absolutely brilliant, what an amazing achievement! I am still waiting for my youngest DD to return home so I can find out what she got but she text saying 'I did well, you will have to wait until I get home' ......you wait til I get my hands on her! :rotfl:
Thank you all for the kind words, lectures are also welcome as from time to time we need someone to say 'just stop and think about this'.
Had to rush the puddy tat to the vets this morning, we have 2 border collies and 2 moggies but I hadn't seen Mr Puddy all morning so thought I would check his usual sleeping place, in the shed on a small bale of hay (yes, he is spoilt as DH put a cat flap in the shed so he can use that as well as the house, garage and greenhouse)and he was all curled up, looking terrible and coughing his little lungs out. I brought him in and he ate a mouthful of food and then proceeded to chuck it back at me.....nice! So I have had to leave him at the vets and they have given him 2 painkilling injections and an anti inflammatory injection and are going to monitor him until about 3pm. If he is no better, they have said they will anaesthetise him to see if he has anything stuck, hope the bill isn't going to be too much!

MOS
I am glad you are going to be able to pace yourself and hope it helps you feel much better and have a better quality of life.
Thanks to the person who mentioned Manuka honey as I am going to pop out later to get some for DH. We got the results back from his facial op and unfortunately my instincts were right and he will need further treatment, probably radiotherapy. We should know more next Thursday when he has another hospital appointment with a couple of specialists to discuss options further.
Managed to get to market for farm eggs, library to change books and medical centre to order prescriptions so had a good morning. Need to clean up kitchen and mop floor as it is a disgrace and keep an ear out for package being delivered for dd.
Tempted by the ice cream mix that AF is offering and maybe a few more bargains while I have a chance of peace and quiet.
Hugs to all."This site is addictive!"

DD has her GCSE results, a mixture of A stars, A`s, B`s, C`s and a merit so we are incredibly proud
Puddy has had to be anesthetized so they can check his throat, just waiting for the call now and the bill is going to be a minimum of £250  anyone for A bean on toast with me?:rotfl:0
