    yay to all results

DD got 3 As and a B in her AS levels :j

    we are proud and relieved

just been to the funeral of the husband of a friend and colleague. strange goinv to the funeral of someone youve never met! it was a good turnout and she will draw some comfort from that.
I wanna be in the room where it happens
  • VJsMUM huge congratulations to your DD, brilliant results, hope you're going to celebrate, well done that DD, Cheers Lyn xxx.
  • Afternoon All, sorry to hear some of you are having an awful time of it at the moment....big hugs to everyone who needs one.

I finally got my diagnosis last week for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, it has only taken them just over a year to come to that conclusion! It looks like DH has finally found temporary employment which is a huge relief but as I have been off work for a fair bit of this year (at least 3 months) they have offered me 'voluntary' redundancy, whilst this is great I am really unsure what to do. I hate the job I do and the people I work with are so 'upper' class (they drive Aston Martins, Jag ect' and have no idea on the real world but it is scary thinking that I could well be unemployed soon!

Still DD1 has been and collected her AS level results and she got 4 A's:T. I am sooooo proud of her, she has had to put up with a lot really, I have been on AD's for the last 18 months, DH has been out of work for just as long, we never have any money but she knuckled down and 'just got on with it', I am amazed at how resilient both my girls are :)

Right, I am off to chauffeur the eldest to the shopping centre where I will have to sit in the car and wait for her whilst she shops as I don't have the energy to go with her (not even sure I have the energy to drive her but with results like she got today I don't want to say no).

Moments_of_sanity, so sorry you have CFS. From what you have just said about not having the energy to go shopping, work etc., it sounds like you have the answer to the redundancy question? You will manage somehow and will feel much better for not having to go out to work when you are exhausted. Esther x

Had a lovely day with fuddle, all i know is all fours nippers got on like a house on fire. They didn't want to go home haha
Mine didn't want them to leave!!!

Fuddle girls are absolutely gorgeous, so charming and polite. Honestly they are a credit to her, she should be really proud of herself :D

Had our indoor picnic, almost poisoned her with no bake oat bars :rotfl:
But no i didn't feed her falafel or pearl barley, instead it was manky egg mayo. bleurgh for some reason it didn't taste as nice even with the black pepper! Or maybe my taste buds were off.

fuddle honestly my boys thought you were great and enjoyed chatting to you. Thank you for being so patient with us :)

Bridlington was really good, and yesterday i saw my counsellor. For the first time i opened up to her and she was shocked by what D did. So i feel a bit better letting my guard down.
The boys were at play scheme all day and really enjoyed it, turns out they took ds1 to the park, while ds2 stayed at soft play. So win win all round.
  • NUTTY another brilliant result, such amazing kiddlers you all have, congrats to your lovely DD on being accepted for another 2 years at college on her health care course, you know what folks, we have hope for the future with all these brilliant and hard working young people, they will make it a better place, each and every one of them, super stuff, Cheers Lyn xxx.
