Ok that seems to have worked this time. It's a link to the Disney biscuits I made for my friend's daughters 13th birthday party. I hope you can work out what films they represent.

    Hello everyone

My tablets have kicked in and I am feeling more anxious and am looking forward to that easing up. I am in panic mode most of the time and only managed two hours at the party before I felt overwhelmed and had to come home. Oh well, at least I managed that long and it will get better.

I've just lost a long post so I will try again later

Hello everyone, just got back from hols in France, cheap but very very cheerful. DH found out his contract won't be renewed just before we went so it wasn't the best timing, but we made the best of it and cooked a lot of cheap pasta.
It's lovely to 'see' you all again, I missed keeping up with all your antics.
I don't stand a chance of being able to read back, but just today I can see Kez, Ginny and AOT are in need of hugs.
Kez, I'd agree there's some kind of jealousy at work there. If it isn't possible to cut her out of your life completely, at least it seems all your friends know she is at fault. I hope you're feeling a bit better about it now.
Ginny, what an awful thing to happen. I'm so sorry.
AOT, my FIL has made great recovery from 2 strokes.

I have 2 very tired children so I need to go, and also have to babysit the house rabbits as they've apparently been fighting while we were away and had to be separated. It's quite serious to break the bond between a rabbit pair as they are so territorial but luckily so far since we've got them back they haven't fought. I'm a bit nervous about leaving them together tonight on their own downstairs but am far too tired after all the travelling to sit up with them. I suspect I might get up rather early to check on them though.

    SDG - they are gorgeous

Possession - welcome home, as for the bunnies, are they neutered? And do you have a travel cage you could use for one of them tonight? As you say its rare to cause a bond to break down, and from my experience its possibly one of them may be poorly so keep an eye out for any signs of illness.
  • Just lost a post. I wanted to give my thanks and appreciation for all the love and support you have given me today. I feel comforted by the hugs and am so glad I found this thread and all you wonderful people.

The news tonight is a bit better. The paralysis is not as severe as at first feared and my goddaughter has been able to communicate with us all on FB. She is a strong and determined person who has already overcome some dreadful situations in her young life, and will fight every step of the way to recovery.

It has not been a productive day for me. Partly because no sleep last night left me wrung out all day so its early to bed I think.

Hope you all have a good night and hugs to everyone else who needs them.

    Good Evening Everyone,

Haven't posted for a while as I have found the heat we have had very challenging so have been doing just enough of every thing to get by! So thankful for the cooler but still lovely weather.

I have been trying to keep up with the thread but forgive me if I don't pass on many individual replies as I think I'm a bit out of touch with who is doing what. however ,

GINNYKNIT, I was so so sorry to hear about your poor puss cat. What an awful thing to happen! I agree that vets really do seem to be pricing themselves out of the reach of ordinary people. We use common sense with the pets' health just as we do with our own as far as possible, and don't rush off to the Dr/vet unless we have to.

KEZ and AOT, thinking of you both.

FUDDLE, do I gather you might be heading South?

LYN, I think you have exciting times in the offing and that Docky has been a clever boy?

Will try to catch up properly this week.

Enjoy the tail end of the weekend all.

    What shall I knit next?

I am thinking of a jumper in Aran. Never used Aran before.
I wanna be in the room where it happens

Kidcat, yes they are both neutered. I think the problem was the smell of the other rabbits the lady was looking after, particularly since they were kept in a hutch which other rabbits had used. The one who got nasty is rather sensitive to smells, she attacked her sister after they came back from the vets too, and no other time, so I thought it must be because she could smell the vets on her. We've had them back since lunchtime and there has only been chasing, no biting, so I'm hopeful.
