mar can't believe how much the kelp has helped you.
I asked my gp and they said i can't take it due because of the fluxtine i'm on.

Oh and i did something very naughty, i've booked a weekend away for us for my dads birthday. So far its the five of us going, myself, OH ds1 +2 and my dad, all going to blackpool. Were even staying a static caravan!!

My dad and OH have been bouncing all over like big kids :rotfl::rotfl:
So funny they worse than the kids, my dad got so excited he knock cuppas over :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
So paid the £50 booking fee, just have to the other £296, who have thought a 3 night weekend away could cost so much

On the plus side, when i checked the dates we won't have to rush back, as the break up from school on thursday and are off the half term. Perfect timing or what?!

I'm actually looking forward to it myself, be nice as we've never had a full family holiday with my dad and OH before. My dad hasn't been there since my mum died over a decade ago and he really wants to see the illuminations. I tried to persuade about a cheap hotel / b&b, put the poor thing was chuffed with a caravan. That OH said just book a caravan, we've never stayed in a static one before and your dads so happy.

My dad was in tears when we told him we'd booked it. He's so stressed out with work, money etc that we really wanted to do something for him. My dad is mine and OH's rock, he's a god send, an annoying so and so but i ever need he's theres like a shot.

What a lovely thing to do for your Dad, you can really feel he amount of love you have for him just reading your post, I hope you all have a great time x

Thanks peeps I hope we have a good time too.
I just hope it hasn't changed to much, pops, but I think he will like it either way.
Told the boys today and they so excited, with they grandad telling them ask caravan sites and the pleasure beach.

So now I have five excited.big kids:rotfl:

We went to whitby in the end with my dad, surprisingly all went well no meltdowns or kickoffs. it was, really busy and so hot. So after tax credits we all had a very chilled out day.

Came back to the lads playing cricket on the green with the neighbouring kids.theres, about 15 ranging from about 6 to 14 and, playing quite nicely ahh, heaven

Well can report that the crayfish party was really rather fun and also jolly good value - it was busy and TBH I'm not surprised. We didn't win anything in the raffle but the singer was not half bad and said hello to DD really nicely. DD won some sweets in the kids pass the parcel and ate somewhere in the region of her own weight in gravadlax (well 3 big slices). Will be making a note in the diary to book tickets again for next year.

On a far more prosaic front the sample from the continence service arrived this morning and DD has gone to bed in the size 6 ones, will be trying the size 7 tomorrow to see which is best (already thinking the 7) then will be able to order whichever is best - not our biggest cost as she only gets through 1 pair a night but every little helps as DH's employer is wont to say!! Biggest help will be though that the supermarket ones are now a bit small for her so these will be better.

Hugs where needed - catch you all later -X

Hello from the south of France, where it is nearly as warm as the UK.:D

The house is asleep so I am browsing t'internet until they wake.

Anyone seen this?

A genius idea, for the price of a posh latte you could buy someone 22 meals. Honestly, this girl speaks more sense than the whole flipping government put together.

Lovely idea about the trip to Blackpool Kezlou

• Hi DENISE thanks you I am having a lovey time here with my daughter, he concerts are wonderful and last night was such fun, it was 'The Song of Hiawatha' which is a very big sing for the choir and very entertaining, tonight is 'Belshazzars Feast' and tomorrow 'The Dream of Gerontius' both of which will be rich and beautiful to listen to. It is so much cooler here today, being in a cathedral full of people was not a comfortable experience yesterday and all I had to do was sit and enjoy the music, the choir were very tightly packed in and very hot. It is the first time I can ever recall a professional orchestra playing the second half of a concert in shirtsleeves, they normally play in full evening dress and bow ties! Hope you are feeling a bit better, look after yourelf, Cheers Lyn xxx.

Morning toughies :)

Kez that is lovely and so exciting :)

I have had a terrible nights sleep I assume it was the heat but as a result I am sluggish this morning :)

I did manage to get up and remember that today the Daily Mail holiday offer starts and some kind soul has posted the words to book online, so was able to book a Mon-Fri half term break in Bognor for £77 - which if google maps is correct is near portsmouth - havent been that way in years so have gambled and booked it even though OH isnt here to ok the place. Its not far from where our friend has just moved to either - so if I am careful I can work in a trip to see their new house and give DD7 the treat of catching up.
I am sure there must be loads to do there but if there isnt there will be boats etc I am sure :)

Just playing a bit of catch-up. Had a lovely day on Wed., DD visited with DGC (DGD12 & DGS10) and the dogs. The new Springer puppy, Walter, is utterly adorable.

• Morning all.

Its been a while since I’ve managed to sit down and catch up with the thread. Infact, Since Ruby has been born I really haven’t had the time to do anything of my own. Therefore I’m now in the process of playing catch up with everything.

Pupster is lovely! I love Springer’s, But never had the courage to own one personally. I was always lead to the believe their hard work (With training because of their tracking instinct)

Not jealous at all. France sounds amazing, hoping you all enjoy it & become well rested.

Hope you enjoying the time away with family. Its amazing to just take that break and enjoy one another.

So, I have a list as long as my arm today. With the heat and new aunty duties I’m managed a big fat nothing. So I’m determined to make sure I at lease get on top of some thing’s.

I’m hoping that there is some better coupons on the voucher board today as I’m planning a big shop tomorrow and I “need” to make much better savings to get us back on top.
So, I better get on and start typing some of these letters up. Hope you all stay safe and enjoy whatever you decide to do. xx

Be happy & healthy

morning everyone, mcculloch what a lovely puppy. So much fun at that age.

I have a couple of days off, so lots of bits to catch up with. My car is having its mot today, I cant find the certificate from last time but I know its due I a few days. 2 days ago I broke the seat catch, so I hope it isn't on the mot, OH will replace it on sunday.

Postey has just been, its the usual rubbish - and DD phone case has arrived from eb@y.

I came home from work last night and OH had done lots of tidying up and cleaning. DD had done burgers and homemade chips fot the 2 of them for tea. m lucky that she can cook and is willing to help while im working till late at night. Its not an ideal situation but I have a job so have to be thankful for that.

Well will pop by later on when I return from town, take care everyone x
