  • I'lol try & order in some Eastbourne sunshine... :) Sorry for absence the past few days, been coughing/sneezing and just cannot seem to shake off this bug I've had since mid-December near enough. Lovely new sofa arrived yesterday so am snuggled up into the corner & all next week off work to chill/sort house/catch up with friends (as per shanks77!) but have a feeling time will run away..
Well done to all the swimmers - my oldest at 23 still can't swim properly and isn't very confident in the water.
Sorry, brain not absorbing much - WestinGourmet sounds interesting, must have a look.

Flooring and everything, you'll feel so spoiled MrsLW.

Friend is coming to fit a new toilet in our new house. The existing was leaking and uncleanable, so he offered to do it for free. Gotta love a friend like that!

  • Well, it will be nice to have it finished but before I throw my hat over the haystack in celebration I should confess that both lots of flooring (cushionfloor and carpet remnant) only cost us £211 in total, so yes it will make me happy but it won't be ultra posh!!!

Sounds fab Mrs LW. No matter what it costs, it's new and you have put a lot into it, bet it looks superb.

What a horrible night last night, the wind blew and the rain poured. Better this morning but still wet and breezy.

Woke fairly early so made a pot of tea and took it upstairs, I laid in bed reading for ages, feels very naughty! I've baked some hob nobs and a lemon drizzle cake and now having breakfast. Very civilised!

Well hello everyone, OH took me to the opticians today to choose my new glasses. I must point out I have very bad eye sight, in fact it complex. Sounds important!! So we ventured into the one with savers in the name. Ended up with a nice pair of reactorlights for everyday and some others as sunglasses...... and pocket 294 pounds ligher. More importantly my eyesight is very important.

tomorrow I start the decoarating in the kitchen, all this talk on here has inspired me!!!

Well off to watch tv in bed, take care everyone x
