Sheila
The very best of luck with the foot operation (or operations eventually).
Nice to see you back here.
DD drove us out for the day and we looked at the church DH's parents got married in and plan to have a blessing there next year.
Treated ourselves to fish and chips and a walk on the beach then found somewhere that would be lovely for a meal and drinks after the ceremony so quite excited now.
Still need to look for an outfit to wear at oldest DD's wedding in November but have seen a couple that I like the look of.
House will be put up for sale in the next couple of weeks and then will look for something smaller and easier and cheaper to run but with DH about to be going to hospital every day for seven weeks we won't have much time to look around.

Elona, things seem to be moving at a pace now, please look after yourself.
It is tiring going to the hospital every day isn't it? I did it for 5 weeks, but 7 weeks is a long time and you are both going to be exhausted.
Much love

Lovely to see you about again Sheila, I hope the op goes well and brings relief.
Elona good luck with it all, sounds like a tiring time coming up for you both.
May I say I'm a little bit ashamed that my house looks cleaner and tidier and far less cluttered than at any point during the 12 years we've lived here, just so we can sell it. Something's not right there!0 -
Elona - huge hugs - a trying and exhausting time coming up for you - lovely that you have a wedding and your blessing to look forward to.
Shegar - I was wondering where you'd gone...sorry to hear you've been poorly, hope the op's go well and nice to see you back.
Possession - Often the way, it's very easy to overlook the clutter on a daily basis and then it just becomes part of the background noise of the house. I was quite ashamed at the amount of stuff I had to get rid of at last weeks bootsale - just shows how much creeps in without me really noticing.
Had a really bad nights sleep and typically have a really busy day today - will need several cups of tea to get through it."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -
As dilemmas go Possesion it's kind of a nice one and something you have control over. Whatever your decision you will make it work
Welcome back Shiela chickens sorry you've been having ops.
Just home having a break. I'm on the coffee and paracetamols as I don't feel well but plod on I must because there is no alternative. I'm having pasta with cheese, tuna and broccoli.
I have picked some blackberries for an agoraphobic lady who doesn't step outside her threshold. She is thrilled with the loot from the garden and plans to make wine. She has let me take some too so they will be made into a crumble with apple but also lit a bit of a yearning to make my own wine again. I will think on it.
DH has put my storage shelves up along with the storage jars. I am so happy! Aside from how cool it looks, even though I need more jars, I have so much space in the cupboard to utilise for stocking up.0 -
How nice that you've given that lady a taste of the outside Fuddle.
I expect to see a pic of the shelves heaving with goodies by Christmas, LOL!0 -
you mean with gingerbread, baileys fudge, candy canes and mince pies? Oh, if you insist!
Think I may have to get some storage bottles too for mulled wine! 'tis only a small shelf - ikea varde in white but I am sure there will be room0
