Aw Jazee hugs to u for today. Those pesky 4 legged creatures have a way of stealing ur heart without u knowing it don't they? I have one myself and will be heartbroken when the time comes to say goodbye.
Thanks to all for the warm welcome xx0 -
Hello my lovelies.
I've just popped on to say I'm trying to get off my painkillers so I can't quite follow the conversations properly so I will be back when I know what I'm on about. 50 years time then
Love to you all

Evening everyone, home again and glad to be so and catching up here after supper at the pub which was very nice. Docky is very pleased to see me again and even remembered to jump on me in the station vestibule and not the person behind me, a great improvement!!!
The garden is overflowing with produce as are the hothouses so I'm going to be busy for a while and we were given another sack of potatoes today by an allotment holder with too many so that should see us through until christmas with those we've grown too, great stuff.
I'm looking forward to a nice nights sleep in my own bed tonight and getting to grips with fruit and veg tomorrow, sleep well all, Lyn xxx.0 -
Hi all,
Mrs L pub supper sounds good
Spent today running around , sure the kids think I have lost the plot , then this afternoon 4 hours in the garden ,moved plants, moved about a ton of stone from front of house to back garden and built a wall ,looks good ..
Working tomorrow at Carlisle ( face painting) so 9 30 start fingers crossed for a busy day .
So going to bed now ,must try to get some sleep, was 4 30 this morning again:mad: so have had a headache for the last few days and I know the lack of sleep will not help ..£223/ £250 GC0 -
Well our little car is nearly jammed packed, just room for 4 bodies, couple of food bags and last minute odds and sods. Dinner sorted for 1st night there and 1st night home, laundry bins virtually empty and house in a reasonable state (garden and car need mowing/cleaning respectively but even so still pleased.) What's going on? Organised moi??

Good to have you back Mrs L - we've missed you!

Evening all, been a busy day but managed to find many YS bargains at W8rose this morning so we'll be dining well this week when He Who Knows gets back from DD1. He's going up tomorrow for a few days to redeem his christmas present so they're going Husky Sledging (but in a chariot with wheels) on Monday and then get to see the dogs while they have lunch and on Wednesday they're going canoeing on the Wye as they've done this before and wanted to do a different bit of the river. Docky and I will pootle around on our own for a few days and keep the veg picked and processed. We did a massive blackberry pick this afternoon but thank goodness have rehomed them rather than me having to sort them out, half to DD for her freezer and half to the pub landlords dad for his freezer, and there are still millions of them left on the bushes. Looks like more jam is on the books as they ripen.0
