Oh ladies I just had to share this gem I have been plagued by telephone marketing calls from BT for weeks and no matter what I do I haven't been able to stop them. Today Ds10 answered the phone before I could get there and says hello kidcats crocodile farm, head keeper speaking how can I help you? Argggggggh help me!
The line went dead and so far we haven't had any more calls0 -
Send him round to our place, kidcat, we're always getting cold callers ringing up to flog us something. One life - your life - live it!0

OK where is everyone???? obviously they are out and about and found a bouncy castle to play on.
well ive just fell asleep for nearly an hour...... woke up and couldn't find the puppy... panic.! I crept around and found him fast asleep in his house. All curled up in a little fluffy ball. And then he woke up full of energy and looking for mischief.
Received a check today from eon, my pre payment meter is in credit again for over £30. I love the cash fairy x lol.
Hope everyone is having a good time in the holidays.BSC member 137

Hi all,
Just back from a mid week break at the new Woburn Center Parcs with PIL, niece and nephew. All I can say is MIL is still alive and kicking due to huuuge amounts of self restraint on my part!!! and lots of pinot grigio - not very MSE or healthy but I got through a very difficult week.
She says she admires the way we cope (by which, I assume she means the kids' disabilities etc) and the way we are bringing up the kids but then completely undermines what we are doing and goes completely counter to what works with them - then when DH (quite gently considering DD was by this stage 15 minutes into a full autistic style meltdown which I was attempting to deal with) asks her not to do XYZ as it exacerbates the situation and not to wind the kids up in general we have full on pouting and teenage style sulking til the following lunchtime!
Ahh well - we are home now.
Hope you are all well - Hx0 -
Hi all , sorry I've not posted in a while. I've had a complete up and down set of mood swings, expected I know, but at one point it hit as I was driving to work, I couldn't control the crying, I had to pull in to a layby. Phone work and tell my boss I was having a few problems and would be there as soon as I could.
Up shot is, I contacted my doctor, he is arranging some counselling for me.
Anyway some of the things I know that are affecting me is my work, it's such long hours, which can mean I'm away fro home overnights and so many meds and things that can go wrong my confidence has gone,
So I am applying for a 9-5 role, as an autistic spectrum team worker. A total change, but I hope my skills will be transferable, just need to finish writing My supportive statement. My late husbands boss offered me a job with them S well, but too many memories as that's where we met, she understood. But has offered to a, look through my application and b, be a referee for me.
So fingers crossed ladies.
Anyway . Shattered . And need to unwind before bed.
Ohh and what strange weather. Driving home from work, it was lovely, dry and warm, just over the vally on the way home, down pours and windy.
Anyway , hugs to all. Will try and catch up tomorrow.
X CCtoday's mood is brought to you by coffee, lack of sleep and idiots.
Living on my memories, making new ones.

CC, as you say, it was to be expected. part of the moving on process. You were so strong for so long that it will take time to get back to balance.
I am sorry, that makes you sound a loo roll :rotfl::rotfl:0 -
Hi cornishchick Glad to "see" you as I'd been wondering how you were. Sorry things are so difficult atm
thinking of you, and like all of us on here, I should think, wishing I was near enough to give you some real (((HUGS)))) instead of just virtual ones xx
Good luck with the new job - it sounds as if it would suit you much better.
Stilty - Very well done for not strangling MIL!
kidcat - I hope the weather cleared enough to allow the kids to use the bouncy castle - what a lovely idea
Saw the doc all right the other day, even had the receptionist ring me to say there was a cancellation at an earlier time if I wanted it, so that was handyI have to have a blood test and a scan *rolls eyes*

CC You are a tough cookie even if you don't feel like it at the moment. You've been through such a lot and I admire you greatly. I don't know if I would have the strength to get up in the morning never mind work the hours you do, so be a little gentle with yourself sweetie x
I think I prefer the answer Mardatha gave though, you just keep going @ndrex
I managed a trip to a CS and Mozzas yesterday Whoop whoop! excitement. I managed to keep off the bed and pootle around downstairs, so I must be on the mend. Just a bad run of illness after having all that trouble with my wisdom tooth etc. Still on meds so may not make sense still (if I ever do)
I have rejoined the gym with the physio Pilates as a years membership was on offer for £150 (loads of other classes as well, on you know where if your local to me)
£150 a year for better health is a small price to pay I think, hell I'd pay that not to have to stare at my bedroom ceiling for another week :rotfl:
