That's awful Kidcat, hugs all round. I'm glad you weren't still estranged though.
Pooky sorry for DD's heartache, I remember the feeling well.
Burtha I agree that warrants a word with the school, but he sounds a lovely confident lad to be taking it so well.

Burtha i personally would go the school. Its a disgrace treating him like that. What an awful end to the school year.

Been to the beach was wonderful. Had lemon tops and fish and chips. No worries just happily relaxing in the sun

Kidcat sending hugs, nothing more to say than has been said.

I have 2 lovely black eyes this morning :o Dgs and I were playing, well I was trying to get him to go to sleep, and as I bent down to tickle him he popped up and my nose hit his head - I saw many many stars! Mind you my nose seems to find things to hit, this is the 5 th time I have broken it, last time I walked into a window at Bronte parsonage :( they had put a perspex cover to protect the deep leaded window and I didnt see it !

I am seriously pondering ark building here as the amount of rain thats fallen here since we watered tha garden last night is biblical in proportions. Dd is doing the race for life today and its just drizzling now so she will be better than those who did it yesterday in pavement melting heat. Sadly she is doing it on her own but I am sure she will be making friends as she always does where ever she goes.

Morning all, Kidcat I am so sorry to read your news. At least you had made up as friends before his untimely departure.

I managed to spend yesterday, my first day off laying around on the sofa. I have a water infection but its started to travel to my kidneys so the pain is intense. I am on antibiotics but not sure they are working just yet. This morning I have another cyst under my arm, so I am definatley run down. Time to think a bout myself a bit more. OH has gone out for the day to watch kart racing and to be a mechanic for his brother.
Eldest DD called this morning and ratchet the puppy has been off his food and water. He has a rumbbly tummy but is very sleepy. So I drove over to see him, and he hopped over and then has something to eat and drink. Proof even a puppy knows that nanny knows best!!!! He got a new toy from me again - it has 12 squeakers in it to annoy his parents. I just received a phone call to say he has mastered the art, and a sarcastic thankyou!!! ha ha.
Tomorrow we are going to get his first injections and to worm and flea treat him. She cant face doing it on her own, so I have to go.

Take care all x will pop by later.
