Kez - nice to hear from you again lovey - sorry about your dad, but glad you have a diagnosis and that he is more relaxed after finishing work.

Thanks for all your lovely appreciations of little Miss Stilty - yes, I'm beaming, although she was shattered today though.

Pooky - We got the cut on the living room wall where we wanted it, despite protestations from her ladyship and it looks fab - she's decided it's ok there so of course now it was all her idea in the first place and if we ask her who decided to put it there she signs "I say" - cheeky madam!

We have our respite hours tonight so planning on earning our tea by walking to the pub in our old village for dinner - they do a fab burger and really good pizza, both at sensible prices, so will be a hard decision.

Catch you all later - hugs where needed X

Fuddle If you have free access to a photo copier get a couple of copies of your tenancy agreement for them to take with them.

    Hi all,

Oh Miss Stilty what a clever girl you are. She must have one of those indomitable spirits that will take her far and make her a legend. Long may she reign.

It's a frustrating day here. Constant phone calls and callers so not much achieved. Fuddle, you are first on my visiting list - thanks.

Must go and make my bed which I was halfway through at about 10.00am and haven't got back to since!

Nice to hear from you again Kez.

Lyn: have you introduced Zebra to bubbles yet? It was an all time winner with Mia. We have a lovely video of Mia tearing up bits of newspaper and feeding them to the dog, bellowing with laughter all the while. I know you will, but make sure you relish every second, it all goes so fast.

Monnagran - visting your neck of the woods next week. We're going to the Newport Jazz festival as there's a couple of groups that we like. We're taking Pushkin - she's been 'abroad' to the Island a few times now so Appledurcombe (dont you love that name?) is like a second home - I'd offer to help with your packing but I know I'd be in the way & tell you to keep things 'just in case' lol.

Mrs L - I used to be a hairdresser & when my boys were little they loved playing with my rollers - long before Sticklebricks came out!
A child's imagination is amazing & should always be encouraged & stimulated.

Burtha - Glad to hear the baby is wonderful, as to everything else, well I hope that improves x

It's peeing it down again today - was so chilly here last night I had to put my onesie on. The cats are tearing in and out of the rain leaving muddy foot prints everywhere and both girls have gone into hibernation mode. I heard on the radio it's the "county show" this weekend - so that explains the rain, it always rains that weekend.

Hope everyone else has a sunny day :)

    Hi everyone.

Finally starting to feel a little human today therefore, I have started on the over due housework that’s required urgently (OH hasn‘t had the time)

So, Since 6 this morning I have emailed companies that I needed to leave feedback too.
Done 4 wash loads inc bedding, curtains & nets.
Cleaned windows & paid the bills,
Just have clothes + towel washing to do which I will crack on with a little later.

I’ve also yet again had the trade man out to the property (Was only here last week repairing the shower) Now the element has gone on the boiler. It made a almighty pop last night, It was loud enough to wake our neighbours next door because it sounded like a gun shot! Which I sleep right next too.

So, Yet again (it was the same time last year the element was replaced) we are without hot water. Going back to the old way of boiling water on the cooker, Kettle ect isn’t so fun in this weather. I am not a happy bunny. It seems we’re always facing reoccurring problems & I am believing that it might be worth a move but that sort of cash takes a while to save - So I guess we’re stuck!

Anyways, I’m going to keep going whilst I have some energy. Hope everyone is well. x
    Future goals:
    Become debt free.
    Beat Depression.
    Be happy & healthy

Hello everyone, Glad to hear about baby burtha - sorry other things not so good. We are here to listen when you get another chance to post.... Glad you are feeling better Princess - don't go too mad too soon though, have proper breaks if you have been poorly. Another wet day, cats not impressed at all. Been to the end of year school musical performance, all KS2 take part with singing but Yr 6 are the all acting/singing/dancing stars. Fab and funny to watch.
Called into Mr Tosscows afterwards with various vouchers in me sticky mitts. Got couple of reduced items with money off vouchers (yes!), double points (not that I spent much), a free bag of chips and a price promise to cash in and one to take away. Love beating 'em at their own game :p. Friend went to a different supermarket and we did a little recipriocal shopping to save time/petrol - doing that more often, every little helps!

Home to warm up with a big coffee and a yummy lunch of various leftover odds 'n sods. Really feel like staying home til school run, have plenty I could do but also want to tick few more things off my random to buy list and check out fav chazzas for any bargains so will have a quick nip out next. Then I can look forward to a cup of tea after school run in the warm - counting my blessings today.
    SQ :)
