    Thanks Sheila.

    ok to highlight in bold:

left click mouse/laptop pressure pad and hold the button down and move the cursor over the words. My screen turns the background blue around the letters white.

then you see the B in the reply box along the top? theres an I with a U that is underlined too? Well click the B and the words you have highlighted will be wrapped in brackets. When you click reply we will see the word has turned bold. hope to help :)

Shegar you need to press the B button to get "bold" font (it's at the top of the reply box - next to it is the "I" for italics and the "u" for underline

Now that was much clearer :rotfl:

I think I'm drowning in junk. I have a passion for baskets and have far too many of them (NO! I am not getting rid of a single one) all of which have been emptied. Some of them emptied in a pile on the floor. Now, how do I pack baskets? They are all shapes and sizes and will take up too much room in a box.
There! I knew you would help. As I typed the question the answer was staring me in the face. BIN BAGS.

Lunch was fine. The roast potatoes were VERY crispy and tasted ever so slightly of charcoal but it was all edible. And it only took me half an hour to restore the kitchen to some semblance of order.

Sorry, I did skim through this morning but can't remember a thing now. Hope you are all OKish.

Off to fetch more bin bags.

Monna, why not pack things into those baskets you emptied before putting each one into a carrier bag? Or is that too organised for your system?!

Monnagran - the removal people should have some big cube boxes your baskets would go in them and you could probably fit all your yarn stash in with them.

Fuddle been going to get back to you on this. About knitting a blanket. There used to be some extra long knitting needles don't know if you can still get them. I sent mine to a CS because I could not get on with them.
I think you will find knitting a whole blanket in one piece very heavy. The only patterns I have seen for an Aran blanket have been in large panels about the size of a cushion but slightly longer. You can do lots of different patterns. That way you do something else, and keep going back to the blanket.

I think I asked this a while back and the reply was anything over 180 was decent. But I may be totally wrong in that :)

I don't iron ours but they do get more creased than the older rubbish ones and could probably benefit from ironing. But I refuse to iron sheets.

Oh yeah I agree, I would need at least another three hours in my day to fit in ironing bedding!!

Have hit a snagaroo with DS16 transition to college, we spent the day there yesterday, he was in taster sessions and I was in negotiations for support. He didnt like it!! Too noisy, busy etc and that was a quiet day. It may be back to the drawing board.
    Grrrrr!!! Kids!!!

VJ's 180 upwards is considered the better end of the market.....I used to work in the bed and bath shop department in a big department store begining with Deb and ending in enhams, I used to make up all the display beds and spent hours each week ironing sheets and duvet covers....never easy when they're out the pack and unwashed as they still have the stiffening on them. Needless to say I've never ironed a sheet or duvet cover since. In a perverse way I used to enjoy it, but it's like washing up at someone elses house, it's a novelty.....it soon wears off.

Kidkat - What's DS hoping to do at college, I know at DD's college they stagger the start time of courses so they don't have a few thousand students all trying to get in at the same time. Hope he can cope with it.

Monna - dump them - you don't need them. Honestly. (ok keep 2.....or maybe 3.....oh sod it keep the lot) :)

Possession - how's your other doggie doing on her own now? Hope you're all ok x

Lots of housework to do this morning (parents coming tomorrow) so best crack on!
