Oh burtha - its so hard waiting :)

I will happily send you the 100+ pages of data I need to assimilate before I am grilled in the morning ?? :)

Have read so many documents I can just see letters and numbers swimming before my eyes, and anywhere I see letters (eg I saw a UPS van outside) I am desperately testing myself to check I know what it stands for!!!! Lets hope they ask me to list all the courier companies full names tomorrow - we will be outstanding for sure :)

Evening all - just caught up as we got the internet back on this morning.

So..... we are in!!! Finally after much box filling/shifting and now starting to unpack. Not without a few hiccups such as Friday when we had put DS in nursery for an extra day so we could shift all the small stuff, only for me to get a phone call from school to say that DD had fallen and possibly needed to go to A&E - several hours spent in hospital waiting rooms later all I could manage to do when I got back was pour a restorative glass of wine! DD was absolutely fine, chatted up fellow patients and patients parents, doctors and nurses galore on her talker and was duly proud of her 2 steri strips!!! Had to nip off to a genetics appointment in the middle of the wait where she told the geneticist that his paperwork was silly!

Got the move pretty sorted, only to have to go off to our parent carer forum conference today and speak (completely unprepared but I managed ok) at the AGM bit - all went well though so another thing ticked off.

Kidcat - hope Ofsted goes ok and you manage to get some joy over the trip money, does seem to me that if they made the decision not to allow him to go the they should be refunding at least some of it.

Nutty - hope you are ok lovey - hugs

Monna - big moving hugs from a fellow sufferer.

Anyone else who needs/wants a hug please accept a virtual one and sorry if I missed anyone while I was skim reading the last few days - X

Oh WOW Burtha! I knew we could do it.

Congratulations, whatever you have decided to be called and congratulations to your DD, she deserves a good long rest after all that pushing - they don't call it 'labour' for nothing, do they?

Lots of love and hugs to the whole family, and stay up on cloud nine for as long as you like.

Morning all, burtha congratulations on the new baby. She was quite a good weight too, no wonder the labour was a long one!!!

Stiltwalker, well done on finally getting moved in - a forever home for you and your little ones. Glad DD had no major damage, kids are always bumping themselves.

Work went well yesterday morning, and after lots of nice people popping in for a chat, free drink and general chance just to see someone it made the morning go well. I had my interview for the training programme yesterday, its so I can finally be salaried with my pay as I will be officially trained, another 50p plus an hour payrise so worth doing. It starts in july and I need to attend up to 6 times with an exam a the end. fingers crossed for this one.

Well I must get dressed, work later on today. Need to go get my mirror paper and visit aldi........

    take care all x

    Wooooohooo Burtha  congratulations.

Thanks Nutty I won't pick on you for not reminding me this month, I can't believe a month has gone by that quick though

I had DSSs school play the other night and he was fab. There were only three boys in the play so he was very brave.

Towards the end there was a band (three members) and the drummer was out of this world, he stunned the whole audience. I went and spoke to him afterwards and congratulated him and his Mother told me how he had been in hospital for a year and had been unable to move and this was his first performance. He had some kind of motor disease (I didn't think it right to prod)

Anyway it brought a tear to my eye to see his Mum beaming with pride. It will stick with me for years.

Less of the soppy stuff, lottie and @ldi today
