Lyn I can't abide bullying or Chinese whispers, either sort it out or shush. They were some very wise words you were given and I'm glad you got to see "them" again....idiots!

I may not have mentioned this but I love shoes, not so much buying but if I go to a major city I like to look round the high end shops and admire the high end designer shoes and maybe hug them a little

Anyway a friend of mine told be to watch one of the real houswives series on itv catch up as they always had gorgeous shoes on. I know these people have ooodles of cash but I think it pretty much somes up ANY group of people, eventually they gang up on someone to validate themselves. Usually a case of Chinese whispers which causes the problem then escalates into validating the bullying.

One of these people must have really felt threatened by you to have you ostracised by the whole nutty lot of them, anyway knickers to them.

Today started off a bit hilly as the twerp who has the nearly blind dog was back on the field today after mine had bit his dogs ear last week. The idiot started to walk towards me while I had her on the lead. Others are complaining that he ran full speed into the bench and the owner did nothing.

Well I've told him my feelings, I explained calmly and reasonably why he should be on a lead for his own safety and others and he hasn't taken a blind bit of notice (excuse the pun)

If others have a problem they need to tell them himself instead of expecting others to do it for them.

The upside of the day is my DD has just been offered a lottie two doors down from mine so we're making it a family affair! Allotment !!!!!......... watch it or you may find a cabbage head in your bed mwahhhhhhhh

Hi everyone, how we all doing?? PIC we have neighbours like yours too. I just smile as I leave and make sure that none of them know my business. Mum got her gravel delivered today, so if its nice weather Saturday or sunday I have over a tonne to shift around. Who needs diets or gyms?
SQ there is always something happening hey!!! Oh had yet another on the spot drink and drugs test at work, all clear because he doesn't do either. He said he was still scared. My OH has said they are trying to get all the drivers to be self employed, and then rent a van etc from the company. For us its a straight no, the thought of any debt or possibility scares me.
Had a nice call from my area manager, giving me some hints for the interview. I already do some of the work needed of a manager, so it wont be much more different apart from the amount of pay I receive at the end of the month.
This Is my confession now, I have taken delivery of a new book. Its cabin fever, supposedly the real tales of a virgin flight attendant. I am intrigued so will try and start it tonight.
Must start tea, shopping list to write so I can forget to take it when I hit aldi as they open! This always happens.

As most of you know ive been trying to sort long term care for OH since first week of December , well today I can finally say it has been confirmed as from yesterday that je is now in the care home.......

He has been having a week or two here and there to get use to it and it give me a rest , while the SS sorted things ......The downside is he is 32 miles away from me, I havent got much choice where he can go because there is only 3 care homes that can have him as they are not licensed to have anybody under the age of 65, and he is only 54, but he is very happy there , he as his own quite large room with own bathroom , tv etc , what more can I say ..........
Ive now got to sort out myself with income support , not sure which way to go with all that ive been a ill carer for a long time, im out of date with benefits............

Ive got a hospital appointment in the morning to see my ENT surgeon to see how im doing after my sinus op, that was done 6 weeks ago, where as that time gone...........

Weve had a sunny plus a bit cloudy at times today , not cold though, but we desperatly need some rain here..........
Now gonna have a shower and will catch up tonight with you all....Sheila

Shegar that's fab news about your OH being settled - shame its not a bit nearer though but at least he's got a good space to call his own... is there room for a sofa bed? ;) Also, why not make an appointment with the CAB for your benefits application, to ensure you apply for everything you should be getting?

PIC - great news about the 2nd lottie! we've just got all 100% of ours for this year, rather than 60% for the previous 2 years, and now have plum, apple, pear & cherry trees as well as more beds and a big space for either a poly or greenhouse...may need some advice!

Shegar I'm sure I've been told you can claim for travel expenses in such circumstances but I can't remember who told me. Maybe someone will come along who does know.

I hope you get the all clear from the hospital

  • Such good news that your OH is settled and happy shegar but a shame it is so far away. Hopefully you will get the benefits situation sorted soon and your health can begin to improve.
Use it up, Wear it out, Make it do, Do without.
  • SHEILA I guess it's a bittersweet feeling that your OH is now happily settled in his new home and the knowledge that he won't be coming home again. It will take some getting used to but hopefully you'll be able to catch your breath now, and build up your health and strength and have a bit of a well earned rest while thinking about the future for both of you. I'm really pleased that it has finally resolved for you both but feeling a little sad for you too, make sure and look after yourself properly, we'll be keeping an eye out too, Hugs and lots of love, Lyn xxx.
