    hi all

aldi voucher in tomorrows sun newspaper - paper costs 40p

I think its a fiver off a £40 spend, only used my last one last week from the mirror paper - bonus!!!

I have work today, and its late one. I finish at 10pm tonight, not the best shift ever. I keep looking for another job, but they are hard to find and we seem to have more and more people coming in asking if we have any vacancies.... so we will see what happens. Have had to make a stand and refuse to work any more extra shifts, as it is I am over 45 hours a week although I am contracted for just 18.

Why is it the yellow ball is high in the sky and then as soon as I peg the washing out, its starts to rain - only a quick shower so I left the stuff on the line. I pretended it wasn't raining.

well must get on, take care all x

I pushed you off the page Nutty as I think we posted at the same time. Reposted so no one missed the £5 off x

PIC thanks, just thought as I lot of us use aldi it would be a helpful hint. I too have sold a lot on ebay just lately, as I need the spare cash. We have car boots started here, but I am at work so not that easy to get to one sometimes. I have currently got one that hasn't paid, so I have relisted the item and done a non payment with ebay. I send all my items by recorded delivery, for the reason that some people do claim they haven't received them. I don't accept returns either - basically if they are interested they should ask questions as that's what I do.

We have made nearly £60 off ebay so far, lots more to list and also to car boot - feels good clearing things out.

    have a good day x

    Afternoon all

I think it's just silly season with Fleabay, I've stopped using it for now, I got so sick of every transaction being questioned...and don't get me started on the fees!!! Local FB sites seem to do well for us (and the local trade in shops in town).

It's a gorgeous morning here but that wind is chilly! Mind you compared to yesterday it's delightful. I had the heating on and a fire going to stop the damp chill from creeping into my bones.

I've been cutting an order this morning, it's very girly and pretty. Got a few new designs drawn up yesterday so hopefully I can get those cut soon too. I've got a blanket on the go too and another order to be finalised colour wise to start after that. It's nice to have a purpose to my crafting :)

Master Possession is still lying on the sofa but he seems to be breathing easier and coughing less than yesterday. I'm at London Book Fair tomorrow but luckily DH had already arranged the day off so if he is still sick it won't be problematic. I really want him back at school though, I think he's had 6 days off school so far this school year which is much more than usual. Plus tomorrow he makes bolognaise in food tech so he'll probably be keen to go. Nice that they are cooking something useful. He's already made it at home, so it's definitely enthusing him. Mind you, he wants to open a restaurant when he's grown up!
Miss Possession has been visiting a synagogue in Birmingham today, it's all go around here you know.
I've got a little experiment of hassleback potatoes stuffed with chorizo, bacon bits and cheese in the slow cooker and it's beginning to smell lovely. All bits and pieces that needed using up apart from the cheese, but still not the most frugal meal.

That sounds lovely Possession. I do love a bit of chorizo.

I thought all the schools had broken up now for Easter...hope he can make it in tomorrow.

Dug away for a couple of hours to chase the miseries away, seems to have worked.

I Know I have posted this elsewhere so apologies in advance,

The Doctor who died abroad is our local DR (not used by us) and if that wasn't enough bad news a local man was hit outside the Co op last night and he has died from head injuries this morning.

It has put a few things in perspective today.

Pooky, can I just say since I hovered over your name and found your homepage you have astounded me on how clever your designs are. They are beautiful if you don't mind me saying, I know someone mentioned it a while ago but I forgot to say you impress me also.

I've made £80 on eBay but I've had a few queries, I always find I sell for a while & then people start complaining & so I stop for a while. I don't have enough stuff to make a car boot worthwhile. I've sold some Babylon 5 figures & I still have 3 to sell, I've also listed my Remoska as I need the room in my kitchen.

I'm having the same problem with ebay too. Sold four items the other week and only one was ever paid for. Lots of items going missing too. People asking less than a week after the sale where is it and expecting me to refund without waiting a reasonable length of time to see if it turns up. Learning my lesson slowly and everything I have listed now is signed for delivery so at least they can't try the where is it trick.

I'm a decent private seller. I always post within 24 hours, charge exact postage and refund postage if by some chance I have miscalculated. I'm just trying to make enough to pay my car tax to be able to take my daughter to her many appointments.
