    Hi,
    Just a quick unscheduled visit.

WCollie: Yes, yes, yes, retirement is a valid reason for divorce. What's that saying, "I married him for better or for worse. Not for lunch."

Lyn: Enjoy your house to yourselves. We will be forming an orderly queue for a croissant breakfast very soon now.

SQ: May I borrow your idea. If any person who needs to write nasty and spiteful posts to make themselves feel important would like to write them to me - feel free. I have enormously broad shoulders, (and hips and thighs, but we won't go into that) and you may feel better for getting it all off your chest. I have a broad one of those as well.

Fuddle: Enjoy your relaxing evening - and your pudding. No, I haven't had the time to tackle officialdom yet, I have some photographs to take first. Hope to get going next week when I have time to re-group.

    Back to the typeface.

All you have to do if you receive a nasty PM is copy the whole thing, along with senders name, and post it here so that the whole forum can see it. Only way to deal with underhand sneakyness is to drag it out into the full glare of public view.

Nice one Mar, I say NAME AND SHAME THEM .............

Ive not been on here for 3 odd wks not been well and 2 hospital appointments.......

If any of you remember that I had a face scan Dec 23.........I got the results that said I need a operation , dr calls it " Chronic sinus Disease".......Said I will be in for the op within 10 wks, well I had a letter on saturday morning to say ive got a 8 am appointment to go and have the pre assessment on Monday 24 feb, so I had to leave here at 7 am.......

Had bloods done etc , then she told me that ive got to have 2 operations in one, scan showed that my septum as a slight bend, so they now have to break my nose, then reset it , then do the sinus op in my cheeks and forehead ........2 hour op.....Beings im insulin dependant diabetic I have to go in the day before and be put on a insulin drip to keep me stabilised .....

Ive had several ops in the past , but this one im not looking forward to, but im in a lot of constant pain that im definitely going through with it.........SS as still arguing with different care homes about the rates , so we are still know further with what is going on, sick to death with all the !!!!! weve been going through for 12 weeks now, but too tired to do anything about it...............Sheila

I hate people being nasty and would invite the nasty person spoken about above to take up their nastiness and go far away, never to return to this thread, and would hope that the founder member, and Pops, would comeback to us.

Fuddle, I might join the queue that's on its way down to yours for tea, sounds yum! :D. Tonight I will be baking adult DS his birthday cake, lemon sponge decorated with green icing and ready made sugar footballs!

Shegar, your op sounds unpleasant, but hope it relieves the pain you've been in so long, ((hugs)). How's things going re DH's move into care?
