(((hugs))) Nutty. You're having a bad day but you're a toughie and I know you'll manage. I'm on FB too, PM me if you'd like to be friends, or friend me through Mrs Chip or Kezlou.
It's chucking it down here but I don't have to do the school run today, and I managed to get a lot of sorting done in my lunch break - stuff that has hung around for, well, years sadly. But it's gone now! Feels good.0 -
Nutty I am on Facebook too. Blimey at this rate you will have more friends than your dd!!
Ginny how can helping your family be wrong? Surely that is the point of family to work together.
Monna am lost for words but as others have said if I can help please let me know
we have been back to doctor today, DS9 now has an ear infection to add to his collection so yet more anti biotic.0 -
(Hugs) from me, too, nuttyp. I'm another one on faceache, friends with quite a few from here, and I'm the wrong side of 40 as well! :rotfl: Maybe we ought to make a private group just for OS-ers or preppers from MSE!
Should have been ironing, cleaning fridge and something else, but as it's such pleasant weather here I went in the garden to dismember a tree I chopped down the other week. We've had NO RAIN today, and even got washing on the line, woohoo! :j
Ginny, my family and DH's have helped us out with childcare from time to time, and I return it as often as I can. Kidcat has it right, family are supposed to help each other.

Another FBer here, although be warned I do only seem to post pictures of cats and or crochet.
My head is in a complete funk today, I've got money, kids, house, health and all manner of other issues zooming round and all getting tangled up. I wish there was an off button for my over active mind somedays. Yesterday my body felt the same and I whizzed round doing so much but today I can't get motivated. I have however lost 10lbs now on my new "stop being such a heffer and start losing weight" healthier eating plan, I'm being very strict on my portion sizes and it's working."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. Monnagran
you will make a difference to her life... believe me when I tell you that. You cant fix everything - and you know my stance on that - it wouldnt help anyone to get all their problems poofed away, we need to fathom things out for ourselves, work at stuff, alter our mindsets but...
A little bit of help to get on your feet can work wonders for that issue but honestly, that help infiltrates so many other areas of life.
Your wee lassie will appreciate the bump up you will give her and that bump will stay with her for the rest of her life.
CC I am pleased to read your man is home and comfy. I have typed, deleted and retyped words but nothing sounds as its intended. I think about you often and have done for a long time now. You face so much yet dont express negativeness. Stay with us CC and please, please, please use us to kick and scream if you feel you need to.0 -
Afternoon doorsteppers.
Well hubby is so happy to be home, and to be able to relax. Mac nurse has been and gone through the changes of medication, district nurse has been and sorted out the morphine driver, and she is ordering a urine bottle, cos at the moment we are using a cut down milk bottle lol . very o's and recycling.....
Just need to get him eating now, hospital food has destroyed his appetite.. but got a chocolate biscuit and a. Cup of soup into him today and he fancies mac cheese for his supper so that's good.
Spent the morning fielding calls and requests to visit from friends and family.. I've explained we need some space to get used to the new stage of our lives together, including learning what he now needs me do help with and what he wants to try and do for himself. I need to learn to stand back and not jump in to help as well as not stand or trip over the oxygen pipe.... which so far i have managed to do. ... almost . alsoneed to find a simple pattern for a small Iis bag to put the driver in, simple bag with a long strap.. so any ideas would be great fully received.
Nutty iam on face ache too. A special group would be nice..
Mona sometimes all it takes to change a person's life is one person who believes in that person. Your a fantastic person. Hugs and as others have said if I can help.. let me know.
SQ fingers duly crossed, hope all works out well.

Well done that Mr.CC on managing to eat, feed the brute anything he wants, including Chocolate Sandwiches if that's what he fancies, and don't forget to feed you too!!! You're doing great the both of you, and we're all sending you strength and love, keep up the good work CC, proud of you!!! Lyn xxx.
