Pooky, what software are you using? Can you post a link, pm me on here or facebook? Some of my friends do papercutting, and I'd like to have a go, but my drawing skills are VERY rusty! :D.

    That's wonderful news, Possession :j

Paper cuts????? I only know the sort that make you go OUCH! :o Someone please explain! So pleased you have a commission Pooky :)

Kidcat Meant to say how sorry I was to hear DS ended up with pneumonia, poor little love, and with DD being ill too you seem to be having an awful time atm :( Hope they are both better asap xx (My grandchildren are good at both being ill together. One will get an ear infection, the other a chest infection!)

monnagran - Do you have Lunch Club every week? I was wondering if there was some way you could avoid having to do the church mag in the same week, but perhaps not. They have Lunch Club only once a month at my friend's Methodist church, which is just as well, as they started off with a rota of cooks which gradually dwindled and now it's just my friend and one other lady doing it each time.

kittie - Thanks for the heads-up! I can't help rather hoping Piers is wrong on this occasion YSWIM :(
  • Brilliant news Possession! Well done to your DH - and to you of course for all the support you have given him. Breathe a long sigh of relief. I think you should have a mini-celebration - cake?!

Glad you had some fun days kez. Happy Birthday to DS1 for tomorrow, double figures! We will have a similar birthday in 3 months and DS9 is already talking about it. Hope you have a lovely family day.

We are all in various stages of poorliness still but overall much better :) just washed out. DS7 has conjunctivitis still and DS9, previously the only well one seems to be coming down with the snots and grots just in time to go back to school! Still only minor stuff though eh. Cats have been enjoying all the extra attention with us all being home lots.

Not sure what to do today, sun is shining so washing will be out on the line. We all seriously need baths and hairwashes and beds will be changed too. DS9 needs to work on his project this weekend which will be a bit tough if he isn't feeling great. Need to inject some fun somewhere energy permitting. Just checked our bank balance and we will need to be more careful next month as dipped into savings again but then the car insurance has been paid this month and DH's birthday etc so not bad really.

duty calls, hope you all get a dose of sunshine whether you are north, east, south or west (or in the middle)

SQ we had a health visitor who swore by bathing eye in milk. It can't do any harm and may help so we always give it a go.

morning all, possession wonderful news about OH job. SQ I hope OH job is safe, and the trip is a good sign for him, new passports are £72 each - OH needs a renewal and its the same price,

Had a very busy day yesterday, did just over 14 hours and today I am pooped. not in until lunchtime today but still another 8 hour day. Had to take the car to the garage this morning, the exhaust was blowing and sounding much like a tank - £200 lighter for 2 new parts.
