Iveleaf - paper cutting is one of those things that dates back hundreds of years but is back in fashion now. It's basically cutting words and pictures from one sheet of paper. Some people cut out phrases or names, others hand drawn pictures, almost like silhouettes but with more detail. It's quite addictive.
Cheapskate - I'll pm you the details
SQ - my grandmother always advised cold black tea for sticky eyes, worked brilliantly for DD1 when she was little and works amazingly well on moggies too.
Gorgeous day here, blue skies and sunshine (clouding over a bit now but the sun is still lovely) I even managed to sit on my swing in the garden with a cuppa, 10 mins with my sleeves rolled up and a good hit of vitamin D.
I've got to paint a little shelf unit later (got to dig it out of the garage first) and I need to clean the car and could do with doing a tip run and clean the windows, Hoover through, put the washing away, cook the dinner and sort out a set of drawers that I need to reuse elsewhere..........or I could just ignore it all and go sit and crochet"Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. We've got Blackthorn in bloom in the front hedge and the Hawthorn buds are showing green tips too, and, we've just sat in the garden and had lunch for the first time this year. We've got a sheltered bit of patio and it's a suntrap and was so lovely and warm, I think spring is definately considering joining us folks!!! Lyn xxx.0
