  • Really warm here today. Just heading out to the gym this morning - goodness knows how much I'll get done in this heat.

Planning a walk this afternoon and otherwise I will be sitting in the sun.

Thankfully in this heat I don't feel like eating much. Fruit platter for lunch today.

This sunny weather is sure making me rediscover some underused parts of my wardrobe. Found a summer dress (I call it my Holly Hobbie dress due to style and pattern of the fabric - those of you of a certain age may remember the doll ;)) which is 5 years old!! But it's probably been worn less than 10 times in that time period. Time to get more wear out, it's not as if its a cocktail dress :rotfl:

Anyway been crazy busy this week and will be right through to weekend so gabbing in form of OCM and any yoga has gone right out of the window. Plus I am finding it too hot and it saps my motivation. No way I could drag myself to gym in this heat!

Have a great day everyone x

Morning All, not as warm here today so I am hoping to have a nice walk today. No gym session this morning as we were woken early by a commotion outside the house - a guy in a car deliberately crashing into other cars!! Police were on the scene quickly but still several cars damaged. Feel so sorry for my neighbours whose cars were caught up in it.

Hope everyone is well and enjoying the weather.
  • I am off to buy some new summer stuff this morning. I am not usually a summer stuff person - I prefer it when the autumn clothing ranges come out but needs must in this heat. I need a decent hat for starters, got my ears burned yesterday when I was out walking with my cap on. Will see what else is there, I am hoping for some new vest tops too.

Just a quickie - crazy busy still. Multi tasking as usual - I have a face mask on whilst I catch up on here.

Hoping to exchange contracts tomorrow on House 1, with a view to legally completing next Friday. Better start packing up again.

Bitsy - how is your house move progressing.

It's a bit quiet on here - hope you are well and managing to stay motivated in the heat.

I actually enjoyed the cooler day yesterday and cracked on with some cleaning and tidying up, then a bit of gardening in the evenings.

    Right time to get cracking.

Allie - enjoy your shopping trip.....

House move is plodding along thanks LL. mortgage in place, surveys completed today, searches sent off so waiting for those to come back. There are four of us in the chain so whether a move at end of August is feasible I don't know. I hope it is as DS is struggling big time with all the changes, end of infant school and starting a junior school (o ly I can't tell him where :(), I am finding him stressful as a result so really just want to move.

Anyway it's DDs 5th birthday so time to smile and enjoy the beautiful weather. Pizza for tea and lots and lots of cake :)

    Allie enjoy shopping :)

LL fingers crossed for completion next week x

Hugs and high fives all round x

    Debt-free and Proud!
    hello all,

The birthday celebrations have been taking their toll on my waistline but will brave the scales in the morning to see what the damage is. I blame Hubby's best female friend for making the scrummious (is that a word?) chocolate cake in the world ever! I'm still munching on icing roses.

We're dogsitting for 2 weeks from tonight so should get plenty of walking done. Think I'm going to take off a couple of afternoons next week hilst the weather's nice and really get out and about with pooch.

Off to catch up on all your news now xx

    Scorchio!!!

Today I am going to have a very lazy day - pretending I'm in Spain.

Going to do nothing all day and then have a siesta this afternoon.:rotfl:

    Bliss.
