Ok, so to those of you who have been or are separated:
How long after separation did you take your rings off?
When is the 'right' time?

why surely? The only thing holding me back as it seems so final and I'm worried it will hurt him even more if he sees I've taken them off already. We separated 2 weeks ago.0 -

I am going through separation at the moment, whilst my husband has removed his wedding ring I haven't because as far as I'm concerned I'm still legally married. And its still too raw for me and i'm not ready.Smile, you are beautiful:)0

Everyone is different some may even leave on until divorced but when you finally remove them it is accepting the marriage is over and moving on, closure!0

Yep, I feel the same way.
I figure my ex has thrown his in the local river , but I can't bear to take mine off. I imagine I will do when the decree absolut comes through. But my ring is a small plain, discreet platinum band, so it is not an in-your-face-chunk of a ring!I have learned that success is to be measured not so much by the position that one has reached in life as by the obstacles which he has had to overcome while trying to succeed. I think my husband's mistress has insisted. I'm still wearing the lot, wedding ring, engagement ring and eternity ring.....(now there is a bloody joke). I will probably move the engagement ring and eternity ring to my right hand at sometime but the wedding ring stays put. Mind you its only been 3 weeks.Smile, you are beautiful:)0
