I note that WS are now copying and pasting 'We have nothing more to add' messages.

Well they could add just what the contract contains,

or whether they/Aldi have authorised PE to issue mass LBAs to their customers,

or whether they are content that PE are threatening their customers with court action,

or provide proof that the PE appeals procedure for Aldi is a bespoke one, not the generic appeals procedure for any other PE ticket,

or whether pensioner Wilf has had his money back,

or whether they can categorically state they are not breaking any planning permission so given, for which they have been found guilty in the past.

Well there's a few items where they should have something more to add. What a catastrophe, an exemplar in managing the customer PR interface. Well done Aldi, well done WS.

Maybe 2 outfits could get shown the door in the near future?

    Bounce.

Censorship on the facebook page by the looks of it, apparently their page has "rules" - maybe they will charge people for breaking them.

I have just taken a look at Weber Shandwick's website. Can anyone please tell me what this load of nonsense means:-

A full service global engagement and communications agency, we build and protect brand and company reputations; we create movements that change attitudes and behaviour and we help transform businesses and bottom lines.
An engagement world puts a premium on the best creative ideas and we have the best people. Best in their sector; best in their discipline but most of all best at joining it all up...because that’s how our world works. As a joined up full-servicefirm, we understand the complexity of driving conversation and engagement in a world where the lines are blurred and the threats aren’t easy to predict.
Whatever our many specialisms, at heart we are storytellers. And in a world where you no longer control the channel or even the message, these stories have to be coherent, come in multiple forms and have their own momentum. So we are not just storytellers, we are designers, builders, directors and conversation starters.
Content Fusion, our bespoke the storytelling framework (sic) helps us build powerful stories combining social media tools and channels with traditional media formats.

    Worra load of bo**ox

Well done to you all for bringing this forward.

Yes, but lets not forget that it is just not Aldi using scum like PE. All the stores use scammers to manage their parking.
We need to take the fight to the FB pages of Tesco, ASDA, Sainsburys et-al.

To a point I agree Pat, but in none of those you mention has mass preliminary legal action been put into play. They don't have the same degree of consumer outrage attached.

Dilution of effort will help, not hinder the Aldi/PE position, taking pressure away from them. One battle at a time is more likely to win the war, than fighting on too many fronts at the same time IMO :)

    Linky to your posts?

While all scammers are odious scumsuckers, PE and Aldi between them have taken it to a new level.
