You have to laugh, but unfortunately, the scamming low life will no doubt earn a steady income stream from this latest attempt to extort money from the unsuspecting.

It looks like these are not Aldi doing this but the landowner or managing agent for the entire site. And the small print is impossible to read when 10ft up a pole, definite an unfair contract if you can't read it.
When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

    My thoughts too.
I laughed when I saw the signs though.
A cynic would say they are deliberately designed that way to catch unsuspecting people out.

90 minutes to use 3 retailers is not much, especially as two of them are food shops, its just there to trip people up on this. You don't have to be cynic it's a deliberate way to scam people.

So Aldi are still doing nothing regarding their loyal customers who fall for PE's threatening letters. From today's Facebook:-

Remember Wilf the elderly gentleman from Shrewsbury who was issued with a parking ticket for taking too long with his shopping. Well despite an assurance from aldi's that they would be in contact with Wilf it has been almost two weeks now and he has heard nothing. Aldi UK, do you have actually have any intention of contacting Wilf?
What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?

    And another bombshell for Aldi:

My only memory this week is receiving a letter from Parking Eye to say my appeal is refused and Court Papers will be arriving next. Elderly, Severly Disabled and just out of latest Surgery for three Brain aneurysms and one Brain Haemorrage causing memory loss so 40 mins over time limit on Aldi Car Park is not giving me much to smile about. As much as I love the Aldi prices and offers I have had to stop shopping there.

That is absolutely shocking on both counts, for shame on them for doing nothing on this. Think its time to plaster their Facebook page of parking eye threads

Presumably that's one of those stupid systems where you must go into the ALDI store & key in your registration number. It's a system only guaranteed to penalise ALDI customers who don't realise they need to key in their registration & non-ALDI customers who are too stupid or idle to pop into the store & key in their registration for the free parking.
