It would appear that Aldi don't like the truth being posted that they have STOLEN peoples money - Jenna is now banned :rotfl:

  • shamelessly bumping up from bottom of page 2......

Parking Eye have had a black day today both in the courts and a very high profiled (on forums ) court order to use POPLA. They have lost on all accounts.

Oh and how silently have MSE deleted posts again from this thread......

Bumping from page 4, with a random tale from my travels, going up the Midland Metro tram system yesterday, I couldn't help noticing in one of the towns between Birmingham and Wolverhampton there was a large advert advertising a new Aldi store opening in April.

Behind it should read "And Parking Eye will be looking forward to the opening day queues as well" ;)

(Off course, it could be an Aldi forced to use a council-run car-park, but those are rare, they prefer to handle their own parking 'management')

One location to keep an eye out for is Louth in Lincolnshire. When this store was announced, Aldi promised in the local press that the car-park would be available for everyone and not just for Aldi shoppers. When this store gets built then we shall have to ensure that they keep to that promise.
    Remember Dunstable?

Might be worth looking up the planning permission to see the council was clever enough to write in the "available for local shops" clause in, so that they can fine Aldi for breaching planning permissions :o

Here is a newspaper article about the Louth store:=

Note the phrase "and would crucially provide 140 spaces of all-day free car parking."

I thought this might be an interesting way of bringing this back up to the top from page 3:
Aldi - I have commented before on the Parking comments saying I find them entertaining. That's no longer the case I got a ticket, I contacted Customer Services as your always so keen to suggest when you sweep these issues under the table. They will do nothing - but suggest if I send my receipt to Parking Eye they should cancel the ticket. Who can I ask keeps a bog standard supermarket receipt for 3 weeks in case they get a parking ticket?? I'm not prepared to play your silly games on this anymore it's already cost me time and money visiting the store, phoning and emailing. I will NEVER shop at Aldi again. Nor will anyone else I tell and I'll be telling loads via the local paper when I point out your breach of local planning permission with your Parking restrictions. I will also not be doing anymore attempts to sort this - let Parking Eye sue me, I will counter sue you as their employer - if you can't tell them to cancel it you can pay for it. Outrageous highway robbery they are just profiteering bloodsuckers and you are facilitating this. SHAME ON YOU.... I am so angry - Customer Services was useless and rude I will write to your CEO presently and demand Parking Eye be sacked - get an ethical company if you must get someone else to manage your property. I didn't believe half I've read here and elsewhere until it happened to me. I do now!! Thieves!!!!

Iris Jones I no longer care what Aldi suggest - been reasonable done it all.
My next stop is my brother in law - he's a QC who was involved in the pressure group that made the planning restrictions so I'll get him to prosecute Aldi or whatever one does for allowing a company to break the rules and persecute and extort on their site without a legal basis.

Aldi UK We're sorry to hear you feel this way Iris. If you are able to pass us your contact information in a private message, we'll follow up with the customer services team and ask a member of the team to look further into the matter for you. We hope this helps, Aldi UK Facebook Team

Mustafa Dump the original poster has contacted customer services and they have said they cannot help?, why ask him to do this twice? once should be enough.

Ryan Bryan Is this the same customer services who lied to Joshua Daniels when they told him there was nothing they could do and they had no contact with Parking Lie. Why is the same of line touted by Weber/Shandwick every single time. I've said it before and I'll say it again. SHAME ON YOU ALDI FOR COLLUDING IN A SCAM TO RIP OFF YOUR CUSTOMERS IN THIS WAY. Where are the likes of Onesie to try and defend this shoddy setup.

Perhaps you can explain one thing on behalf of the turbaned one?

Why does he think Iris is a 'him'?
