Another happy customer from the FB page:-
Just received a parking charge notice from Parking Eye for parking for 1 hour and 57 minutes in the Aldi Car Park on 02/01/14!!!!!! Apparently parking is limited to 1 hour & 30 mins. I took my disabled mother shopping there and was clearly parked in a disabled bay with a time clock and blue badge clearly displayed - 2 lots of shopping takes a lot longer when you are pushing a wheelchair, will look for my receipt with time of leaving store, but perhaps you are penalised for even spending that long in the store????What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -
And yet AGAIN Parking Eye ( on behalf of Aldi ) break the BPA CoP. How many times do they need to do this before the BPA grow a pair and suspend them ( and of course uphold BPA rules ) ?"The darkest places in hell are reserved for those who maintain their neutrality in times of moral crisis." - Dante Alighieri0

Somebody has just raised the question of the "no return within four hours" rule. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

Isn't that rather unfair on Aldi, do they not want return customers? You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0

Isn't that rather unfair on Aldi, do they not want return customers?
Apparently not - with Parking Eye in tow.:D
It would be cheaper for Aldi to break their contract with Parking Eye than lose all the customers todate as a result. Still if they could prove that Parking Eye have breached the BPA COP they could claim damages from Parking Eye as a legal argument.:cool:0 -
Also, I wonder who is the driving force behind the many planning breeches? Is it Aldi or PE wanting to shorten the parking time so they can con more money off people? Plus the question of unothorised camera installations. I imagine that's down to PE.What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

It looks as though PE may have picked on the wrong person this time. This a follow on from post # 1364 :-
My mum will be straight on it anyway I am sure as she is Vice Chairman of Leonard Cheshire Disability and spends her life campaigning on behalf of disabled people.
and :-
I have now passed the contact information for Customer Service on to the Leonard Cheshire Campaigns team. They are meeting in London tomorrow and this issue has been added to their agenda and I hope that their legal team will now contact the Aldi legal team to discuss this.
Evidently you have to register with the shop if you are disabled or mention it to the manager. Of course there is no mention of this on PE's signs or on any in-store notices. So you have to be psychic to avoid getting a fake fine from PE.What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0
