I see that another Aldi groupie has told the person up posted up a link about the planning permission to "get a life mate". Theses people don't like any criticism of their beloved company do they? What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

The supermarket says it can’t find any evidence of such an agreement, but has pressed forward with submitting a retrospective planning application for the cameras.
That statement speaks volumes. The ANPR system is owned by Parking Eye who claim to have the authority to pursue parking charges to court!. The fact it is the supermarket which needs the planning consent further proves that Parking Eye are merely acting as agents with no such legal standing to pursue claims in their own name.0 -
Morning ParkingEye.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Very similar to the agreement at Portslade. Planning permission only allows staff to be onsite until 9pm - many are onsite until the early hours. Aldi doesn't care about planning permission !"The darkest places in hell are reserved for those who maintain their neutrality in times of moral crisis." - Dante Alighieri0 -

Non aldi news, seems the sainsburys which was previously infested by euro has been replaced by a 'horizon parking', pretty much the same signs, although only on the side of the store and on the disabled bays, nothing in the car park itself.
First time hearing of horizon. New scammers to the party?
I wonder how many invoices has been issued today for overstays at a busy time of year. Aldi must be loving the kickbacks0 -
I noticed horizon in sainsbury in Bridgend yesterdayWhen posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.

And in Newark. Mind you the only sign is screwed to the side of the building as you enter the store and refers just to disabled and P&C bays. There are no other signs at either the car-park entrance or dotted around the parking area. So not PBA compliant. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

The website doesn't give much away. Just a payment page and a phone number.
Proper car park management this time of year would involve someone directing vehicles to spaces and turning a blind eye to any overstays due to shops being busy. Took 15 to check out today using self service tills.0 -
The cameras seem to be the same in Bridgend are euro and them connected ? Which also means that I didn't see any on the second exit out, nor were there signs on that area. And this is no hidden exit as it's just off a roundabout where busses go. Will have do a proper look after the new yearWhen posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
