You have a PM.
(That way at least two of us have a copy of the text).0 -
You need to add more citations on what you've posted up, for example links to newspapers with articles about the abuses of planning and so on, otherwise it will be removedWhen posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

Latest edit:Throughout 2013, Aldi's reputation in the UK has taken a significant hammering from sections of the motoring public<ref>https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4660007due to their engagement of Parking Eye to manage the parking at many of their stores. The problem is that Parking Eye use ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) cameras to record the date and time of entry and exit to a car park. All this does is record time on site - it does not in any way "manage" the parking. Between them (PE and Aldi) they have also reduced the parking time allowance at many sites (often in contradiction to the planning consent for that site, and without planning permission<ref>http://www.leylandguardian.co.uk/news/local/supermarket-rapped-for-being-snap-happy-1-6328271</ref>). The net sum of these actions is that many genuine Aldi customers have received (and continue to receive) Parking Charge Notices (PCN) of up to £100 (typically £70, reduced to £40 if paid within 14 days). These PCNs are speculative invoices that are unenforceable in law ... the most that is allowed to be claimed is a genuine pre-estimate of loss - and since most of Aldi's car parks are free then the loss is zero. Every motorist who has appealed through the industry appeals process (POPLA - Parking On Private Land Appeals) or at small claim court, and has raised the issue that these PCNs are not genuine pre-estimates of loss, has won their case. (Parking Eye are known to be litigious and to raise small claims court actions to recover non-paid PCNs - even though they have no authority to raise such actions in their own name).0 -
I'm not criticising it as it is well written, but on wiki it needs to be written objectively and without bias. Sorry but IMO it should be rewritten because of this. When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.

I have added some citations that are needed, in other words proof. I can't spend time on this today I am busy, but I think a collaboration here is the way to do this

This becomes more scandalous. The latest Facebook complaint about P.E seems to reveal another hidden clause. You have to report to the store manager if you return within 4 hours. Either that or they make it p as they go along.
Donna O'Keefe 'Hi Tony, I have just spoken to Aldi and they said the same about the changes in the Law. Apparently the lady told me if we return to the store within 4 hours we must tell the Store Manager as they have a NO RETURN policy within 4 hours. News to me. So I now have to go back to Aldi to get proof of transactions on the day. All this 2 days before Christmas as if we've not got enough to do. Its not a great way to treat regular customers. Its definately left me feeling very cold towards to Aldi.'0
