Hey Southerngirl. Sorry for the delay in replying! Have you managed to get back to the Whole 30 again? I think that you've done brilliantly, and a small slip-up won't undo all your good work, so maybe just go back two days to 'wipe out' the two bad days?

I'm now on day 7, again, and still feeling good. I did eat a few chips and half a burger bun today whilst trying to get my kids to eat their lunch in a restaurant today, so have slightly gone off-track but it was for a good reason!

    Day 7

Breakfast - bacon, mushrooms, tomato, egg, fruit

Lunch - beef burger, salad, couple of chips and bit of burger bun!!

    Dinner - Chicken, salad, berries

Still feeling good and love the energy levels.

I've been thinking about what to do when I finish, and I think i'll try and stick to the basic whole 30 rules in the week, have a few treats at weekends (e.g. just a glass of wine or bar of chock), and eat freely on celebration days (e.g. birthdays, Christmas). I will also reintroduce rice and potatoes once or twice a week as these tend to help with quick easy evening meals. As long as I keep on feeling well, I hink that should be ok. Not sure about dairy yet...

    Flissh, how are you doing?

    Hi,

Don't worry about a small blip Southergirl, keep at it. Anyway, you felt rubbish after that food, so that's a positive thing learned.

I'm still eating as if I was doing the whole 30. I'm just not ready to give it up yet. Although I have added wine;) I'm going to see how my weight is with alcohol added to the mix. I can't believe I am not rushing back to all the carbs etc.

Gilly and Southerngirl, thanks for all the support, it really helped get me through.
