Santander 123 Accounts Only Two Per Person

If you think Axel's post needs to be quoted & corrected, why don't you do it? After all, it was you who originally agreed with him.0

I spoke to their customer services on Saturday morning and the guy toldme my 4th application for a 123 a/c 'wasn't' - and was an easy saver.
He was unaware of any limits to number of 123 a/cs being intro'd over the week end. I duly opened my 4th replacement & 5th.
Today I now have 6, so he provided duff info on the 'lost' account.0 -

I didnt agree with him/her and it 's you who's doing the correcting, arrogantly and incorrect... as usual.
As opposed to you, I have provided factually correct information regarding TalkTalk
May be jump back into your pram when you have actually read and understood the relevant posts.
EDIT: Please can you also list the links to my "usually" incorrect posts, with details on what is wrong, and why? I'd like to correct where I was giving wrong information because obviously the very last thing I want to do here is post stuff that is not correct.0 -
The bonus expired My Santander eSaver (3.20% AER
) expired in the middle of June, so opened one of these recently. Just waiting nervously for my first interest payment next month!
Given that I'm going to be over the limit, it's great news that I can open another 123 ant not have my money rot away in a crappy savings account. It's going to take some fiddling to get it all ready to go!0 -
To get the best out of this account you really want to switch all your utility DDs to get the cash back. Do you not have any you could use? Even a mobile phone contract?
It's with Halifax for their reward current account.
I noticed from the list that was mentioned earlier that ingdirect (now barclays direct) savings account uses a direct debit. I have an old ingdirect account that I haven't used for ages so I've just requested a new PIN for it - hopefully when I log in I will be able to change the direct debit to my santander 123 account, but I seem to recall that ingdirect used to require the direct debit to be set up via a form sent in the post which would be a nuisance.0 -
further DDs can be set up...that is how i qualify for HR monthly payments and for new account incentives.
Friendly Societies, Credit Unions, Savings Accounts, Charity Donations can all be used to create the DDs and money can just be moved back when you want it (from the Credit Unions and Savings Accounts).
I have Savers with Santander, Tesco Bank and Monmouthshire Building Society, for example.0 -
I think ING can change the DD online, but requires a deposit by cheque from the linked account (for authentication, perhaps) before you can use it.0

typical Santander for me...they've kept telling me that the codes for accessing my new accounts will be with me shortly. running out of time this month, i called this lunchtime to be told they haven't even been sent "as this has been overlooked".
i've done my best to confirm that the slow progress will not prevent me from bagging the account opening incentives. should be ok. they make you work for it though:whistle:0 -
