You've been given advice all over the internet.
It's either time to let go, even if you need more help from your gp or go and speak to the police in the local station.
If this is genuine. You need to seek more help.0 -
What if they are monitoring your internet....0

How much did you lie to the Police as that will determine how long they will torture you?0

I was told it wasn't mine or the other person who lives here's names they had and that our neighbours hadn't reported us or anything like that but the police still wanted to talk to me as part of an investigation from something that happened four years ago.
The police refused to to tell me what it was about and wanted to come and 'show me something'. I was also asked a lot of random questions like if I worked and when I'd be home. Anyway I felt uneasy, freaked out completely and lied about how long we'd lived here and said we didn't live here during the time period the police stated (we did).
I haven't heard anything since but I'm considering going down to the police station and seeing what it was about because I can't stop worrying about it despite knowing I have never done anything wrong.
.. but it was nine months ago now and I haven't heard anything since. Should I leave it and assume they had the wrong address or contact them and admit that I lied because I was confused? Would this show up on an advanced crb check? Could I be charged for obstructing police even though I didn't see any identification?
Thanks x
Interesting to see that the new post - recorded at 11.47 pm GMT on 5/11/13 - by a user ID who registered in December 2012 has been merged with a thread started by a user ID who registered in June 2013.
Telling the same basic story as a user ID who registered in March 2013.
The only response to that is "Go to your GP and tell him/her everything. Then take the help that is offered".0 -

You really must call in at the local police station, your mind is not going to let you forget about it so give yourself some peace. You will not get into trouble and realise you have been silly for worrying so long.Have you got a friend that could go with you togive you some support?0 -
None of the advice will have changed from before. Re-read and either follow it and get in touch with the police, get medical help, or move on.Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!0
