Diva would have been a good name for our Lila, (Delilah) because she certainly fancies herself, but the name we chose was right. As an almost-adult cat, she's confident, shows excellent concentration for hunting, but has that streak of mischief we detected right at the start.
Izzy, on the other hand, is somewhat sensitive, lacks confidence and appears not the brightest button in the box. She sees Lila hunting, but shows little inclination to try the real thing. Instead, she will put stones down vole holes, fish them out again throw them in the air and kill them. :rotfl: Maybe she just has a great imagination!0 -

I must've watched that half a dozen times now! :rotfl:Joyful TV indeed.
Unfortunately, watching it again tonight has made me a tad glum too, not because of the content, but because it still buffers and only works properly on 144.
This is despite half a morning in the loft, when I decided to rip out all the old redundant cabling to do with the phone and whatever weird set up the previous lot had for TV. I removed 3 aerials and ten cables + a booster unit. There were at least 4 telephone wires connected to nothing. But now, with as 'pure' a connection as I can have.....it's still carp!

I'd just be grateful for a cordless landline that worked across the house.
The storm that took out our BT elements or whatever its called one has seen us floundering with what to replace it with. That one didn't cover the whole house, which really for a phone of that price take IMO it should have ( we had four hand sets , not asking one hand set / base to cover house). Next option up is a HUGE price tag. Bearing in mind the BT phone was meant to cover miles or something not sure I feel like risking more on a phone which may or may not reach the back gate. Ideally I'd love a phone to cover me in the garden, and preferably the yard, but I think its a necessity to have a phone that works in the kitchen, for example. People always call at crucial stirring moments.
I never considered a phone reaching the whole house would be a problem0 -

It's certainly cold in our kitchen, where there's daylight in all the wrong places.
Our temporary kitchen picks up the early sun, but it's just not that early any more. I'll not complain though, because there's a chance we'll get the roof off and on before any significant rain comes.....if we can figure out how to build it, that is.
Big girl sounds as if she'll also get things done in decent weather too.:T
No other news, except a rather spivvy-sounding person phoned last night, saying he was coming to do an EPC. Apparently, one of the firms we'd asked to quote for a boiler had "appointed" him, so I quickly disappointed him! :rotfl:
Neither of us had any idea this service was being arranged, "to get things accurate, like," but springing it on people seems a great way to put them off! Anyway an EPC done this week, with all the holes in the building, would look quite different from the one we had a week ago.
I am phoning another company this morning.....:p0 -

The mist on Monday morning was beautiful here, I drove up to the horse road and looked down on the big valley and you could just see some big trees and odd things poking through.
. I'd forgotten to turn my fog lights off though, and you could see people thought I was a bit bonkers, clear as a bell when you came out of the sea of mist.
