Thank you for the apron advice CTC and Choille I hadn't contemplated a wrap around one but they sound fabulous :D In the past I have had a PVC one and it irritated me that I couldn't wipe my hands on it and that it didn't go in the washing machine.

Where is the best place to find one? E-bay, Etsy?? I shall go and explore :D

but OH has loads of paying stuff to do - shouldn't grumble, but I just feel Winter breathing down my neck again & not up for being in the van another one - I really can't bear the thought.

I am glad the work is coming in even if it means OH cannot spend time on the house, at least you can then afford the materials.

The pressure on you regarding the winter etc may actually be making the health issue more difficult.

Can you work out what the minimum is to at least get it weather tight so you can move stuff out of the caravan, even if you need to sleep, cook in the van for a bit of time?

    How is OH now?

I know I might sound as though I am OTT on this, but these terrorists really do put the heebeejeebees up me...

Quite reasonable to feel the heebeejeebies; they are not the sort of people I want to encounter. I really feel for those living with the real nightmares in Ukraine, the Middle East, South America and place like the Congo.

Ultimately though there is burger all I can do about them so I have to let go of the fear. I try to put the energy into things like improving my skills.

OH can hardly walk. It's part of his condition. Until the iron has been drastically reduced he won't get much improvement. The blood letting jiggers him.

Terrorism is being used so that the Gov can bring in more & more drastic legislation - we are turning into a Police state. A lot of it is propoganda. There is more to fear from nutters in our locality & the Gov than some Johnny foreigner. Mind you if we will go & blow the Middle East to shreads what can we expect really?

Well it rained & became midgie infested & sheep stuff didn't happen. I went and took a huge bunch of home grown flowers - bright blue hydrangas & dark leaved wild rose with purple berries & crimson bamboo flowers to elderly neighbour & ate her shortbread which is the bestest in the whole world. So all was not lost. We put the world to rights. We decided that we should be running the country really. We will be joint emperesses.Joint in that we both will be - nothing to do with drugs - as she's a little wheezy............

Sorry Alfie - You posted all about your Mm, but I didn't notice.

What a damage she's done to herself. There you are running about like a blue bummed fly again. You should try & rest up as you can't afford to be ill.

Just spoken with a lovely man in New York - funny how he knew more about the referendum than I
