The kittens hadn't experienced rain before. Izzy point blank refused to go out, but Lila decided to give it a go. 30 seconds later, she was rushing back at 100mph!:rotfl:

    [/QUOTE]

My current kits are very fairweather cats too. When they were younger they would stick their head out of the cat flap, decide the weather wasn't suitable, then miaow to be let out of the front - presumably to check that it was raining at both ends of the house.:rotfl::rotfl:

Now they just remain indoors, snoozing the bad weather away. If they get caught out in the rain they come racing in, before a drop of rain hardly has a chance to touch them.:D Previous cats have been much braver, but not these two.....
It is a good idea to be alone in a garden at dawn or dark so that all its shy presences may haunt you and possess you in a reverie of suspended thought.

One of my cats tolerates a bath and is happy out in the rain while the other one starts growling if she hears the bath running while you are holding her :rotfl: Two very different personalities :D

Still can't find the shed keys  No idea where they are and the grass has slid from lush to excessive :o

Do you remember the ongoing paint debate with regards to the hall and our bedroom? Well we went to Homebase today and they were selling off a range of Crown paints and we saved a small fortune :D

The hall is going to be very neutral and in Button Mushroom this was hubby's choice and as he has chosen the rest of the decor in the house I trust his judgement.

As for the bedroom we are going for blues :D and we are going to open the cupboard in the bedroom (currently behind wall paper) and I am going to create a crafting cupboard like this Oh I am so excited! Just need to get working :D

I, too could do with some decent cutters as most stuff is just a bit too thick for secateurs, so I use a saw - which is a bit unwieldly.

Great with the bargain paint Rummer. I painted a hall that colour - well the bottom half which was wood & above I painted light blue & it looked like the seaside - which it was near. It's a great colour is the mushroom as anything seems to go with it. I do like the cupboard idea - very organised.

Well, just back from a lovely meal out with OH's clients & what excellent entertaining couple they are. I think I over ate though.....

Lovely run home with the full moon, but quite a few deer on the road - saw a couple of Fallow where we usually do - mother & daughter.

    Anybody seen Hurricane Bertha?

We have had some rain and a bit of wind. I am very grateful, but had I known it was not going to be much different from a normal day, I might not have spent it in the barn, Hammerite-ing some metal shelving!:rotfl:

Nope. We stayed in bed most of the day just to miss it. Never mind.

We have loads of plums on the trees down my lake cake but the brambles have shot up , and across, and back and forward, Those plums are unlikely to reach my kitchen I think.
