The architect finally sent us the extra plans we asked for weeks ago when he was doing the ones for the council. Cost us the princely sum of £14, but I have no idea why he ignored our earlier request. You would think he'd 'get it' that large copies of the floor plan are needed for stuff like planning plumbing and electrics.

We also made contact with an electrician, who actually responded to our call and is visiting us on Friday. :jHe sounds keen and comes recommended, so that's hopeful. We have located a plumber, and we're having the heating system designed by the guy who works for my BiL, so that's in hand too. :)

    Just a plasterer to go......

Hope you can get your DH's meds sorted, choille. :A

Well, we have the postman doing the road and lane hedge this year, then Pete will tidy up a bit later. The postman does the road hedges on Sunday mornings when 'tis very quiet! ;) (till he gets going anyway!:rotfl:)

choille...... why would a squirrel WANT to kill a cat ??? :rotfl:

You'd need to ask one, but I remember reading about it happening in London rather frequently near a large wooded park. I suppose they got the taste, or were retaliating.

When I was at Stirling Uni squirrels would clamber up the outside of the residences on the corner of the building & come in an open window to nick food 3 storeys up. I've seen one walking along a washing line to get at a bird feeder. You can, or could feed them in Edinburgh Princes St Gardens - so tame are they.
