On the upside the person is now running out of options as all the authorities that have been contacted have seen how fabulous you are and that you are going above and beyond all requirements. It is like the boy who cried wolf and eventually they will run out of people to complain to.
I am just sorry you have had to go through it all, especially when you are so wonderful
thank you .... Alfie has been to our place, and can confirm how we treat, and look after our boglins ....Work to live= not live to work0 -
I think the best thing to do is not react in any visible way, but keep records and be ready to contact the police if anything illegal happens.
So far, no actions have occurred which could be seen as illegal, or proved as harassment, but various organisations have had their time wasted. I imagine they will all report back to Mr X to say there's no problem, and that will rile him more! He'll be scratching around for ideas soon.
You might not feel it, but you're winning.
My relatives have had exactly this sort of thing from a neighbour. Estate agents call, old people's homes ring up, they receive literature on funeral plans etc etc. Now, the calls are drying up. The only people who are really inconvenienced are the businesses, and they won't be caught twice.
It's similar with Mr Dog and my saplings. I've apparently not reacted. In fact, I've already planted almost double the number lost ; they're just different species and smaller, so he won't see them when walking down the road. In a couple of weeks the brambles will have blocked his view and way sufficiently to add even more.
I will have a hedge there, cheaply if possible. I could get Pete in with a digger and plant full sized hawthorn. But that costs, and there are better things to do with time and money.
Mr Dog isn't worth it, and neither is your guy. Really not!0 -
CTC You speak so passionately about your animals and we are so delighted to share in their progress through pics and clips. Please take comfort from the knowledge that they are clutching at straws as there is nothing they can catch you out on.
I agree with Dave do nothing obvious while thoroughly recording everything. We are all cheering you on and celebrating your success and helping you dust off the days that don't go so well.
Look at all you have achieved, when these threads started you were a dreamer. Now you have brought together a like minded group of people that would never have met otherwise, you have a small holding, piglets of your very own and oodles of quail. You are a remarkable woman who has made things happen! Never lose sight of your dream, even if you have to peek round mountains to see it!Taking responsibility one penny at a time!0 -
daves right.... if you do [ ie trees etc ] something that HE reports you for, HE will have won. im the first to admit my first instincts is always to hit back but iv learnt that these people usually have few friends and lead sad lives. by letting others know HOW you look after your pigwigs will quell rumours and your not naming/reacting to him makes you the better person.
and yes mabel would be proud of you:D
total respect for your love and care of all your pigwigs0 -
Alfie, I am so glad you are backTaking responsibility one penny at a time!0

you lot has jut made me ball my brains out....some wonderful friendships have been made on here, which I think is the loveliest and bet outcome..
Yep you are right, even though first instincts is to get back at the twonk, I am not going to give mr git the satisfaction. I am going to phone the animal health guy today, and ask him for the ref or contact number of the rspca, and I want everything in writing, from the complaint, and what it said, and then a letter from animal health stating he has been out, and his verdict etc.. I also want a letter from him again for the complaint that was put to them last year that we were keeping pigs illegally etc.. will also contact natural resource wales for a letter on the outcome of their visit etc at the beginning of the year...and also the other complaints I can remember.
If I got letters of it all, then I have a paper trail, and no complaint can be lost on the systems etc...
got the fencing guy coming this weekend to look at the next phase of fencing... ( contacted him earlier on in the week) so better get a thicker tin hat lol
weather wise it was really windy last night, felt like it was as ba as the gales we ha before. still a bit blustery out there now... grey and overcast...Work to live= not live to work0 -
looks like I am 'Billy no mates' today lol...
home from work now... having cuppa and see the quailets, and then off up the ranch...
was looking for some sort of free software, or log book for logging daily egg laid etc and came across this
http://www.docstoc.com/docs/35310117/?ct=40&utm_source=docstoc&utm_medium=email&utm_term=Registration+-+Doc&utm_content=Registration+Confirmation+With+Doc+-+DP+-+v6.2&utm_campaign=Registration&alt=f25c44fc-4041-4393-9702-04f56aed3609
obviously I am not going to pay for it, but I did take some ideas from it... or did someone copy and paste it?? must have dreamt that part lol
so keeping a daily tally records will be great....of whats been laid, sold, hatched, cooked with etcWork to live= not live to work0 -

Sorry, I'm not ignoring you CTC. I've been working, so only just in after brush-cutting areas I didn't quite get to in the autumn.
As Mr Dog's hounds have been barking much of the day, albeit down-wind, I thought I'd wait till he got home to do the brushcutting!0
