Glad you are around, Rummer.
If I send you some dahlias after the weekend, will you be able to still use them? They will only be teeny things, but they should still grow into reasonable plants by season's end.
I have a whole lot of space to fill and would love some of your Dahlias although I am conscious you have lost a lot do you not need to keep all survivors?Taking responsibility one penny at a time!0 -

I have calmed down now, BUT earlier I was flipping fuming..
Mr 'git' ( it must be him, as he has been the one that has reported us for everything else) reported us to the RSPCA for not feeding our pigs!!! the rspca contacted the council animal health guy who turned up at the ranch this afternoon.. our stonemason guy was there, and thought it was a joke... he took him number, and then phoned hubby straight away... Hubby then phoned the animal health guy.. and was really piddled off, and explained that this is now harressment now. The animal health guy said there is nothing wrong, and he could see they were well fed... ( they are a bit over weight lol)..
We either stay up there, or are there at least once/twice a day.. we go through pig food like water, and they are spoilt, I buy them jam doughnuts and as special treat, they get hand fed jelly babies lol
We are now going to phone the police tomorrow. an see where we stand, as officially no one has told us who has reported us, so was wondering if the police are involved, would they give that info over to the police??
I will take pics of our piggies over the next day or or so and post them on here..
They are trying all ways to get the pigs off the land, but we are legal and doing nothing wrong....
Funny enough I said to hubby a few weeks ago, I wouldn't be surprise if he tried the rspca next... Just wondering who/where else he will try?? any suggestions lol..
not helping stress levels one bit..
I did say to hubby we should tell people we are going to re-instate the battery hen business, and see how he reacts to that... hahaha twonk..Work to live= not live to work0 -
CTC Oh how awful! I would be distraught if I had to deal with what you are going through. Hopefully the police can advise you on how to proceed. Do you have records of everything? If not best to start noting everything down.
Alfie Thank you for checking in with Rhiwie I have been worried and it is good to know that everything is ok.Taking responsibility one penny at a time!0 -
CTC.... i would write a notice to put on piggies fence saying something like.
FOR WHOM IT MAY CONCERN
SOMEBODY,WE FEEL ONE PERSON, SEEMS TO THINK THAT WE NEGLECT OUR PIGS. THEY HAVE REPORTED US TO VARIOUS ORGANISATIONS,ALL OF WHOM ARE ALL SATISFIED THAT OUR PIGS ARE HAPPY AND HEALTHY.
THERE IS OBVIOUSLY A MOTIVE BEHIND THIS SAD INDIVIDUALS ATTEMPTS TO VILIFILE US THROUGH THIS VENDETTA. THEY OBVIOUSLY HAVE NOTHING BETTER TO DO WITH THIER TIME. IT IS NOW IN THE HANDS OF THE POLICE.
WE LOVE OUR PIGS
THANKYOU.
shame the booggar0 -
The thing is Alfie, he doesn't come down the lane, he only looks through his window, unless was coming across to our land over the stream... which he will not do anymore.. he is the one who said he owned a bit of our land...
So he is not going to see any sign.
Rummer.... its getting pathetic now....Work to live= not live to work0 -

ahh BUT... word spreadsand its "catchy monkey" time..
only takes ONE person to suss who it is and it will backfire on him big time .....
let joe public play detective..0 -
On the upside the person is now running out of options as all the authorities that have been contacted have seen how fabulous you are and that you are going above and beyond all requirements. It is like the boy who cried wolf and eventually they will run out of people to complain to.
I am just sorry you have had to go through it all, especially when you are so wonderfulTaking responsibility one penny at a time!0 -

we thought it was this person, and funny enough when we were on our way back from your place.. a neighbour phoned to say the stream had come over the bridge, and a neighbour had gone to mr git to say he was worried about one of the pig run flooding, and he admitted he had phoned the council about the pigs, and he said no one was interested... basically they wernt interested, because we are not doing nothing wrong... so he then phone environment wales... footpath people.. etc.. and now the rspca..
We will tell everyone who we speak to on the lane...
there are a couple of trees on our land which is just behind his garden, we might cut them down, so then he garden and house is totally exposed, so he will get no privacy whatsoever unless he puts a fence up.... and then he will not be able to see our pigs lol.. but that is just one idea to mull over...Work to live= not live to work0
