I have an idea "those" hormones are now made from something else too from somewhere. I also understand there are "natural" ones around.
Then there's always menopause cake (or whatever its called):EasterBun
which is actually quite more-ish.
I haven't used anything myself. I just gritted my teeth and got through it without...though it all took some years (WAY too long...:().
Thank goodness these days I know a bad mood is down to me and feeling hot means I really am hot...0 -

We should both thank him! :A I don't normally hear that part of the local prog....in fact I don't remember ever hearing it.
I think there are plenty of sources for wise words, but they only hit home when they match a situation you're experiencing.
My peas (from RAS) are doing fine too. DW planted them out about a week ago.0 -

Glad that OH has a diagnosis and that treatment has started.
lir, CTC, Dave and everyone else dealing with medics; hope that you find out if anything needs treating and they get moving if that is what you want.
My own squeaks and eeks are slowly improving, although it essentially musclo-skeletal and relocation rather than dislocation. Only thing is that it hurts as much while the muscles and tendons work out how to operate with the new regime. There seems to be a fine balance between activity and too much activity.
Not planted your peas get Dave; got two sets ready to go into the grounds (well been ready two weeks now) and then I will set them so they flower later in the season. If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -

My fox glove tree has big fat healthy buds.......but only to about a third of the way up. . So its alive, which is better than I hoped. But I seem to have lost the top.
I have no idea when I should cut the top off to do least damage.0 -

I'd think sooner rather than later. As foxglove trees can be stooled right back, I don't think they are particularly sensitive.
I have a few. The one in the poly has already flowered, but the ones outside are at various stages, depending upon whether they were outside or inside over winter.
Dunno whether I've lost any of my 10' one that's in the border.
Will look!0 -
Thanks dave!0

Its hollow. I have anxiety I have done the wrong thing and its going to rot as moisture gets in. I cut it some way above the highest bud ( above next budding place where there is no life), because I was trepidatious. So I am worried the void will fill. It sounds hollow all the way down. I have put a cork in the top and might wax?
Stupid tree love.. Why cannot I like something like......ghastly lladro?

Weather is ideal for bringing on the plants, with overnight rain and warmer sunny days. Definitely see the progress on the perennials now !0
