    Looks lovely :D

I went out into the garden for a while this afternoon as it finally brightened up! However our composting things are now full both our own bins and the council bins so I am going to have to wait until they are emptied before I do much more clearing.

Been reading the Mel Bartholomew Square Meter Gardening book which is interesting and we are going to apply some of the principles and approaches in our garden. Mainly the packing things in part :rotfl:

The current beds have a lot of grass and weeds in them :o and I am not looking forward to clearing them. One of them I have just turned it over weeds, grass and all in the hope that when it is dry enough I can dig it over and pluck out the weeds. They are all pretty bad though :( this year I will be covering them when the season ends so that I don't have to do this again next year.

An indoors day for me today, not just because it rained on and off, but also because my office needed serious attention, not having been tidied properly since Christmas. :o

In the course of tidying, I found some seeds which I believe to be those from the Floridity tomatoes I grew last year. Although Floridity are F1s, they cost about 30p a seed, so I thought I'd give my F2s a go and see how they fared.

So, I've planted them anyway. :p

Hope the Boglets are everything you could wish for when they arrive, CTC. :)

Maggie , your pictures show you have loads of colour in your garden already. I'm jealous. :o

I have only hen pictures, but there's this, shot on our walk on 25th March. I had to walk on water to take it, mind! :rotfl:

Total change in the weather in Glasgow, rain and wind all morning then lovely sunny late afternoon. Planted out 4 bare root hostas picked up from Aldi last week.

Against all advice, moved my magnolia stellata which I fear may have expired due to the winter wet. In its place I have placed a Pieris Japonica "Forest Flame". Will see if the magnolia shows any signs if life in the next few weeks.

Marvellous :D however I am clearly not fit enough to escape running screaming zombies such as these. If the zombie apocalypse should happen I am pinning my hopes on them being the slow moving noisy ones so that I can escape to my island and start farming :rotfl:

hubby has gone into work this morning, and I am up the ranch, will do a swap over later.... but I really do need to go home and have a bath, and a cuppa ( need to bring the kettle and the microwave back up into this caravan)

Even though I am still not sleeping properly... I allways sleep better up here.. maybe its because I haven't got 3 cats trying to sleep on me in the nights lol..

Guess what........ oh yes it is raining again :( I am so over the constant rain! In fact Rumlet now has a new rain suit so that we can get out and about in the garden while keeping dry.

Today we are going for a nice long walk to blow off the cobwebs as we had a week in and around the house last week and I am starting to go a bit stir crazy :rotfl:

Raining here too Rummer and the painting man hasn't bothered to turn up. Hope he finishes soon as currently we have no guttering which was taken off to facilitate the painting of the woodwork on the house.

Plan is to go to the plumb place this afternoon when Mr BD gets home, but I just cant get excited about taps etc!

:rotfl::rotfl:2.8 Hours later Dave. This zombie stuff needs to be taken seriously you know ;)

Looking forward to photo's of the boglets and quail :D

Oh no watching GW and they have a chocolate cake on.....mouth watering now, but it is egg salad for lunch, doesn't quite hit the spot in the same way :(
It is a good idea to be alone in a garden at dawn or dark so that all its shy presences may haunt you and possess you in a reverie of suspended thought.

After a hectic day I managed to steal a wee 15 mins weeding in the garden so the place where the raspberries were is almost clear :j

I have been thinking about the planting for that area and I have had a few ideas so hoping to get a few things planted in it over the next few weeks :D Does anyone have an online nursery they would recommend that sells reasonable sized plants for decent prices? The garden places round here either sell lots of the same or are extortionate  I appreciate I may just have to grit my teeth and pay the prices however no harm in asking!

My plan for the next few weeks is to spend a short amount of time each day in the garden to slowly chip away at all that needs to be done ;)
