They still need humans for other interactions anyway. Just try shoving a urine sample though a touch screen!:rotfl:
One of the receptionists is my stage spouse, so I suppose I shouldn't feel embarrassed handing my best efforts over to her.
Then again.....:o:o0 -

T'was freezing at 6am this morning but very pleasant now, and too warm in the polytunnel.
No sign of the peas germinating yet, RAS.
One of the Marans has a bit of a prolapse, so we've put her in the isolation run in case the others go for her. Earlier in the week, the Rhode Island was off colour and looked like she was going downhill fast, but isolation and a few days on antibiotic water and she's made a good recovery.0 -

Sumptious costumes or if I was younger I might say 'lush':D:D Love your headgear - did it stay on OK or did you have to be careful how you moved your head for fear of it falling off??
It is a good idea to be alone in a garden at dawn or dark so that all its shy presences may haunt you and possess you in a reverie of suspended thought.

Yes, DW did me proud.
The headgear was fine, apart from poking other people, but you don't bother about stuff like that when you're an Emperor! :rotfl:
Only the moustache gave trouble: it needed extra strong glue!0 -
just watched the weather report on the bbc news... by all accounts hard frost on sunday/Monday??
piddling it down here, so hubby has gone up the ranch to feed piggies and put the heating on in the caravan...
The work we wanted to do, is outdoor work... so giving it a miss today now...Work to live= not live to work0 -
Dave, your panto outfit is definitely the best one in that pic, well done to your DW :T
Talking of photos, would you mind posting a pic of your raised beds that you mentioned a while ago?? Everyone seemed to know what you were talking about when you described them, except meDon't worry if you'd rather not.
CTC, enjoy your night out
Has anyone heard from rosie?? Hope our missing daydreamers are all doing ok.'A watched potato will never chit'...0 -
Now, I go for fence posts, chopped up and concreted-in, with 12' half round fencing rails nailed to them, three high. Cheap, bloomin strong and look good too. Again, any twit who can dig holes and use a spirit level can make those. I just stole the idea from a local who makes planters in a similar way.
Dave, this is the post I was referring to. Clueless.'A watched potato will never chit'...0 -

Oh I am just too giddy for words!

My darling hubby has agreed that we can totally transform the side garden over the next couple of years we now just need to decide how :rotfl: As I have posted [STRIKE]a million times[/STRIKE] before the side garden is the area that we use to grow fruit and veg however a lot of it is grass at the moment and a real pain to look after. So we need to lay it out with beds and paths to maximise the growing space.
We are thinking of it more as an allotment than a garden but so many decisions to make! We will build our own beds but what path material would be the best to use??Taking responsibility one penny at a time!0
