  • CTC - my mum had a funny turn a little similar to yours last week. You may want to look up hiatus hernia - I'm leaning towards that for what happened to her, as the professionals are all mystified.

My local Poundland (Crayford) has its new season plants in. Roses, buddleia, other shrubs, blackcurrants, green and black goosegogs, tayberry, perennials and bulbs.

LIR - so sorry to hear what's happened. Am glad that you've found a couple more survivors though.

Alfie - good luck getting everything sorted and moving on!

    Hugs to everyone :grouphug:

I'm here, but a bit grumpy!:( Tried to do the on-line tax submissions (I do both! :o) but I got stuck when the form referred to current notice of coding. I couldn't find recent ones anywhere, so now I'm convinced we haven't had any.

I'll get around it somehow....lie, or whatever it takes.....:p Our tax should take about 5 minutes, as our situation is as simple as it gets.

I wouldn't have been indoors in the first place, but the weather people said it would rain, so I junked what turned out to be a perfectly good bonfire day. It did rain, but not until 4pm!

I have spent most of today dreaming about being able to disappear to the Mayr for a while. :(.

I think the January dark days have probably hit. I painted four finger nails in stripes of screaming pink and rich gold, and brought a barrow load of small diametre wood in to get rid of.

    Nothing to report today.

    Had a day of it.

Lamb escapologist at it again & then a Ministry man appeared with the satellite do dah strapped to his back to re measure my croft & inspect me.
I told him to go away as it was done last year & the maps we are working on are the ones they've created.

I tried raising his boss on the phone but could't. I threw a bit of a wobbler as we went through all this a year ago & this just smacks of harassment - I have complained about an official recently & I think this is the backlash.

Stress - tell me about it CTC.

I think you should get a check over CTC & defo have your blood pressure done & your blood sugars checked.

Well - that's my crepe day, totally shoite so far.

Davesnave the latest notice of coding that was issued to you should be on your record online with the date issued. I do my friends SA return for her and her notices of coding are on her record too.

    LIR ooohhh funky nails:D

choille sorry to hear of your 'Ministry' troubles, hope you can sort them out so they don't keep bothering you.

Like you dreamers I haven't had a very productive day either. The the sum of excitement was to check the credit card statement. We have had our first delivery of logs which Mr BD has stacked in the log store which he made at the weekend (he got the hammer and nails out after he saw the price of log stores on ebay;))

Ohh and how could I forget?

I bought a cheapo wool hearth rug on ebay and it arrived this morning. Charlie's cup now runneth over. He is lying on the rug toasting himself and giving little mumbles of contentment at intervals. The only fly in the ointment is that if he gets much nearer to the stove he is going to burn his nose

    Rofl.

Dog dogs faourite spot too. She likes to check out the region for any bits of charcoal that might have dropped out of the stove for a stove side snack too .

Fwiw you'd think they'd make a better impact on the notorious greyhound digestive odour.

Hugs LIR for the loss of your precious chickens.

CTC Please go to the docs, you would be telling any one of us to go if we reported the same symptoms.

Dave How frustrating about the online forms and the missed day.

Rhiw Sounds like exciting times ahead getting things done around the home and garden.

Alfie Great news about the money :D

Maggie Glad you got the the allotment

    Betterdays Lovely pics :)

Rozee I think you have been amazing through all of your renovations and it is no wonder that you are starting to find the process wearing. It will all be worth it in the end.

I do hope I haven't forgotten anyone, my head is a bit fuzzy as I have been ill the last couple of days and been feeling hideous. A bit better today so hopefully back to normal tomorrow. Illness and a newborn are not a great combination :(
