    Rainy again today :)

The garden is such a mess at the moment as the high winds just blow all the rubbish in the area into it :( Unfortunately I can't bend and short of buying one of this grabbit devices the litter will have to stay there until I feel better.

Everywhere is a mess ATM, so don't you go bothering yourself!
Not while there's nice warm drinks and biscwits to be consumed.:)

Here, we're not quite back to last years's level of liquid muddiness, but we're not far off, so I'm hoping for a bit of moderation this week.

Looks OK just now, but as we know, it can all change in about 5 minutes flat.

I don't have a handy teenager unfortunately however I could ask hubby to do it. In fairness to him he was keeping on top of it until recently but there seems to be so much to do and so few hours in the day. However some fresh air might help ;)

On a plant theme I have an indoor ivy that is failing to thrive at the moment. We have had it since I was a child and recently it has just dramatically drooped :( I have made sure it is moist without being soaked and have moved it to a brighter position incase lack of light was an issue. What else can I do? New soil or feeding perhaps?

New soil - the old stuff is probably exhausted. Ivy likes it dry too.

Horrible day here & off over East to escape.

These 2nd kitchen units have a bar of wood along the top that curves in the way for a handle. I don't know if they'd look naff painted out all the same colour & if I can get a paint to stick to Formica. I did have a peek at replacement doors on t'internet & they are pricey - well, by my standards!

    Exciting week
Had a quote to have a stove installed now just have to choose which one, this is the 'before' fireplace picture

The white painted bricks aren't very nice, so we may get them plastered.

It is a good idea to be alone in a garden at dawn or dark so that all its shy presences may haunt you and possess you in a reverie of suspended thought.
